I find the the tread is cracking on all 4 tires while there is still about half the tread left.The next time I buy tires I plan on buying a different tread the Mud and Snow do not seem to hold up

Most of the miles on these tires are road miles. The LTX M/S provides great traction on dry and wet roads with little to no road noise in the cabin. It provides a smooth and comfortable ride.

I recently purchased a set of Michelin tires and compared to the set I had on before...they are much smoother riding set. Very pleased .... Thanx, Bowtie

VAST IMPROVEMENT IN RIDE QUALITY OVER OEM TIRES ON EXPLORER. THEY DO SEEM TO BE VERY DIRECTIONAL IE. SEEMS TO RESPOND TOO QUICK TO SLIGHT MOVEMENT OF STEERING WHEEL. MAY NEED TO HAVE FRONT END ALIGNMENT CHECKED

These tires seem to ride rougher than my previous Michelin LTXs. Especially noisier on larger road cracks. Still waiting to see if I get better traction on snow.

This is the second time I have purchased these Michelin Defender Tires for my Explorer! These great tires offer a smooth ride and also stability in rain and snow! I highly recommend these tires!

I've had three sets of these tires on a Explorer and Honda Ridgeline. I enjoy the comfort and reliablility of these very affordable Michelins. The LTX's provide that quality of security that money can't buy.

These tires have 77,000, yes 77,000 miles on them. Not bad for being on a GMC Safari van. I can not say enough good things about these tires. I will be replacing them with the same ones!

Great Tire, lake effect snow is no match for this tire, never got stuck. 55,000 miles on tires and just replaced to be ready for winter, probably 10-15,000 miles left on tread.

I have had nothing but trouble with other brand tires. Michelins have always held the road and have not had other problems like bad belts causing vibrations. They do cost more but are worth it.
