Goodyear Eagle Exhilarate - 225/40ZR18/XL 92Y Tire

Haven't had these tries for months and already multiple bubbles in the front two, had them changed yesterday for supposed new ones only to get a flat in one of them today. I don't carry a spare so I'm out of luck now.

Wish I picked a different tire.

This is a great tire. It performs as good or better than DW06's and rides much more comfortably. I recommend this tire for the VW Golf TDI's, GTI's as I am driving the TDI and favor this tire for it.

This tire will beat the Continental DW06's

Quiet, comfortable ride. I can't even tell which tire is different. This just fits right in.

I would love to rate my tires, unfortunately even though you have record that I received them I have not received them yet, although I purchased them already Approximately two weeks ago.

Desperately waiting

These tires should have come with my 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback, but instead I got some Yokos, designed just for the Corolla. I removed the Yokos after 2000 miles and could not be happier with the Exhilarates (225x40R18) on 8 inch wide wheels. The Corolla hatch, though not fast, is fun to drive around curves and these tires have dramatically improved the handling, dry and wet, and the road feel. I live in Austin, Texas, so no snow but lots of heavy rain. So far (4 months winter and spring, 2K miles), and a variety of surfaces and speeds, I have not been able to break them loose in the rain. Tested down to about 35 degrees. A little bit of hum on rough surfaces, a firm but not harsh ride, I would say these tires are on bubble between AS and UHP. An enjoyable, confidence inspiring ride. If the tires last to 40K, and continue to perform at this level, I will buy them again.
