Not much flavor

Although I usually love organic fruit, these apples only had an average taste. The organic Cosmic apples Sam’s had offered for several months tasted so much better, But please continue providing organic choices in all fruit and vegetable varieties- berries, mushrooms, broccoli, asparagus, zucchini, etc.

Unhealthy Food stuff

The apples were good and fresh. That’s the only Kind of apples I get, because they say organic I trust that they are. The management seems to care more about profits more than the people they serve. The stores are packed with too much unsavory foods.

Bad organic apples

It tastes like grass, not apples. And here's the other thing. I don't know what kind of organic apples they are, that within three days they start to rot. It's just awful. They had other Cosmic organic apples that tasted great and could be stored for a long time.

Watch for rot

Most of the apples were good, rich flavor and crisp. Two, however, were developing rotten spots. I have noticed that on several batches of apples this year and understand that it is a disease. You have to watch the apples carefully because when a little spot shows, it will advance rapidly. This can be present on organic and other apples. These were relatively inexpensive, but there have been plenty of inexpensive apples available this year so I might look elsewhere.

"One bad apple doesn't spoil the whole bunch, BUT.

I always examine the apples in the bag before I buy, but after only TWO DAYS, each apple in the bag showed large brown bruised spot and were beginning to rot. Apparently, this fruit was way past its freshness date. I live a good distance away from the store, so I make a trip there only when I'm in that area for other reasons. Otherwise, I'd have returned them. Instead, they all were fed to the local squirrels in my yard. No good.

Delicious and fresh

Sometimes buying organic is tough: you buy it because it has less junk on it / in it, but the fruits can tend to have a short shelf life. These apples did great for our office, as they lasted about two weeks (may have been longer, but they were all eaten) and they stayed fresh.
