The first day they had a firm texture. Second day the texture was less firm. Then the following days each day quality was worse and worst. I ended up turning the remaining apples into applesauce.

Hit or miss. Sam's Club apples used to be awesome every single time. Since they switched to organic on the labels they seem to be a bit less consistent. Be sure to check them over pretty closely and you still may get some that are a bit mealy.

These are really great apples. They were crisp and sweet/tart-just the way I like them-middle of the road for tartness and not soft, but you won’t break your teeth off either. Loved these! Decent size too.

We get most of our orders delivered from Sam's . Could not be any more convenient for a senior couple ages 78 and 83yrs. Rarely have we a problem with an order, but this time the bag of Gala organic apples that arrived this morning was disappointing. One badly bruised and spoiled layed in the middle of the bag, covering the apples below with a sticky juice that leaked out into the bottom of the delivery box. I took some pictures while my wife reminded me of an old saying, "1 rotten apple spoils the whole bushel" We washed off the other apples and after we cut out the spilled areas we gave the slices to the raccoons, birds and others that frequent our back yard.
