Latitude O.E. tires cooked at 19,000 Mil

We are looking forward to removing these worn, rough-riding, poor snow driving tires from an '09 Edge Limited. The car only has 18,000 light/ local miles on it, and the Ford Dealer informed us that although they are perfectly and evenly worn, they will need to be replaced at the next State Inspection. They are just "Worn Out" with "very little tread remaining" I laugh when I read the header comment on this web page that someone has 155,000 miles on them, with plenty of meat still left. (Now THAT'S FUNNY!)

Michelin is #1!

Excellent riding tires! These tires came on our new 2011 Ford Edge - and I am glad they did! The Latitude Tour HP - X Green tires, handle rain & heavy snow exceptionally well! I rotate the tires every 5,000 miles. The vehicle just turned 21,000 miles and the Michelin's are still goin' strong! With the poor condition of Seattle's street surfaces, It runs these tires thru their paces! I will be changing my 2009 Ford F-350 C/C to Michelin tires in the near future. They are great!

Great OE tires - best ever

Original Equipment on my 2011 Ford Edge SEL. Presently at 70,050 miles and still going strong. Just had vehicle in for 70k service and they and I feel another 10,000 is probably in these tires. Will definitely purchase same as replacement when that time comes!

So far so good

I bought these tires before a trip to Florida in July. They are so much quieter and smoother than what was on my Ford Explorer. I only have 10,000 miles on them and they still look new. I will be buying these tires again when I need to and I will be replacing my truck tires with Michelin tires when they wear out.

I love my Latitude Tour HPs

I bought a set of Michelin Latitude Tour HP (215/65R16) in May 2014 for my '05 XC70. The improvement in handling over my old brand of tires is tremendous. I cannot comment on how the tires wear since I've been driving on them for only 8 weeks or so, but am very happy with the overall and high speed handling they provide. I will definitely buy them again as long as they wear well.

Tires are very quiet and have very little roll when cornering. I have about 25,000 miles on these tires and very little wear. Rotation at 10,000 miles has been great as no abnormal wear. I believe the tires earn me about 2-4 gallons per mile more than factory tires. Will purchase again.

Just a Excellent tire for any vehicle.

I purchased the Latitude Tour HP's approximately 2 years ago and I am completely happy with their wear, ride and handling. I also have a set of X-Ice winter tires and I am equally happy with that set of tires. Handling is second to none. The vehicle came with Kumo's and it was like driving around on 4 cement blocks compared to the Michelins.

Poor Wear

While I will agree that it handles nice, we are already needing to replace them after only 21K miles on our Escape. It's driven in normal circumstances in dry and wet conditions (no snow) but the tread has not held up to even half what the mileage is supposed to be. I am very dissatisfied. It's not just the wear issue, the last 3-4K miles, these tires have been obnoxiously loud, so much road noise from them that we didn't have when they were new. Additionally, when I preview my review it says I would recommend this tire. Believe me, I clicked NO, not yes. I would not recommend this tire.

4200 KL and very unhappy.

2017 Ford Escape Titanium. At about 25000 KL we started getting a rough feeling ride and a considerable amount of road noise. We had the SUV undercoated with sound barrier when we purchased the vehicle. The change in the feel and handling of the tires has become very noticable. Traction has also deterioated. We now have 42000 KL on the tires. I am pricing new tires as we donot like the noise and lack of traction.

106,886 miles later

My 2014 Ford Edge was my company car that I purchased from my former employer in 2019 with original Latitude TOUR HP Michelins. I'm just now replacing at 106,886 miles. I just purchased 4 new ones at COSTCO. The 2 rear tires still have usable tread.
