This is just as good as the big names and a great price! My kids love it. It's a great way to get some protein in their lunch boxes and travels well for outings/trips/whatever!

This jerky is as tasty as any commercial jerky! The price point was what encouraged me to try it. If the price remains competitive, it will remain my #1 choice.

It really isn’t jerky but more of a beef stick. Kinda tough and not much flavor. Probably won’t recommend to anyone for purchase.

Odd consistency, and not in a good way. Edible but I won't buy it again. The Members Mark brand is much better.

Not the best flavor

This is not the Original Hi-Country Beef Jerky we've bought for years. The quality just is not there anymore. It is soft, grainy, and almost mushy in texture. It has a higher fat content and is so greasy its smeared on the inside of the bag, and shows shiny on the inside of the clear plastic on the front of the packaging. The pieces are also too perfect and uniform in length and size, as if the beef had been chopped up and mixed with an emulsifier of some kind and then was extruded from a machine. 4 months ago we thought we just gotten a bad batch, but tried again recently and it was just as bad. Hi-Country is cutting corners and it is costing you customers. Your product was so bad it landed in the trash a second time. Won't make this mistake a third time. It's sad...as we haved loved this product and purchased it since Hi-Country mailed out it catalog, well before the internet was in existence. We not only purchased it for ourselves, but we purchased hundreds of bags over the years and mailed them to friends and family living out of the state/country, and they in turn would order. Probably not anymore....
