This tire has a great feel. It handles the ice and the rain at ease and I have put them to the test. I commute in a metropolitan area daily and I'm chauffeur for the family in the evenings. These are the second set I've bought and they hold the road well.

These tires came with my vehicle that I purchased 5 years ago. The technicians where I service my car every 5,000 miles are just now recommending that I change my tires.....after 95,455 miles! The service representative did not believe that they were originally purchased with the car so much that she checked the serial number on the database. The mechanics at the auto manufacturing company where I work said that it's unheard of for tires to last this long. Maybe so, but I will replace them with the same brand for sure!

My VW Jetta 2012 2.5SE came with this tire when i bought the vehicle. So far it is a good tire for UTQG rating of 260. My work is home health so i have to drive an average of 100-200 per day, and i need a really good tires for both highway, twisty roads, sometimes gravel and sometimes rainy wet road. This tire are good and proven. But there is one weakness, rubber is quite soft on sidewall that i have to replace 2 of my tires because of sidewall got cut onetime and one hitting a curb in 1mph

I have marveled at Goodyear Eagles from their inception and the fact that if they are good enough for Nascar's doing 200 miles an hour then they should be perfect for my style of driving,lol The fact that they work in the winters we get in Canada, as they do in the summer was amazing. I have driven beaters all my life and finally found a 2010 Infiniti G37x with 30,000 kilometers, one lady owner who parked it in a garage everyday was to good to pass up. She has 328 HP and does 0-60 in 5.3 seconds and I'm not sure if it is the AWD or just the tires but No Tire Spin all winter long. The tires hold the corners even on ice like there wasn't any. Folks with snow tires couldn't get up a few hills around Toronto but mine just climbed them like a mountain goat, again no tire spin at all. I would not have expected the Goodyear Eagle RS-A P215/45R17 87W original equipment tires installed on my 2010 Pontiac Vibe to have lasted 40k miles but they did and they performed well. Usually I feel fortunate when OEM tires make 30k. I suspect that having a tire inflation monitor may have made a significant difference--this is my first vehicle so equipped. I am satisfied with the braking and turning qualities of the tire in dry and wet conditions. I can say little about "winter" weather performance. We get snow in Austin, TX only once every few years. A bit more common is "black ice"--a thin sheet of frozen rain--on which only studded tires are really fit to drive. My only complaint about these Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires is the harsh ride. I really feel the road in my aging bones and hear it in my tired ears. However, that probably says at least as much about the light and inexpensive--okay cheap--vehicle on which their installed as about the tires.

this is the second set of tires I buy, the 2 back tires wore out in less than a year. I bought the new set and the same thing happened with regular driving conditions. when I visited the store to complain and inform them about the tire wearing out to fast I was asked if I race the car honestly I felt insulted. they were happy to tell me no warranty is given for the tires wearing out but wanted to sell me another 4 tires, wow definitely will never recommend this tire ever 8 new tires in 2 years wow what a waste of money.

Exactly what needed at a much lower price

Great tires....perfect speed rating for my Pontiac G8 GT. These tires really grip and hug the road on dry pavement. They are not as good on a wet road or in light snow.....but then again there are not too many tires that fit all weather situations.

Same set as originals. They lasted 55,000 miles before replacing only because of age (sidewall cracks). They were on the car 7 years. This is the only tire I would buy for our car.

I have heard some friend say how smooth some of the competitor tiers are, but I say they cain't be any smoother than these. They are Smooth and they are American made. This means a lot to me.
