Have been buying the Blue for over 40 years! Not often,,,with the price, but want on hand for special occasions and special Scotch drinkers! Such a very smooth drink over marble rocks to sip and enjoy immensely!!

Classic! This is a go-to in our family for the holidays. Great value for your money, very balanced. We enjoy it alone or mixed in cocktails every once in a while.

I've had the good fortune of having several bottles of Johnnie Walker Blue Label engraved. I have a couple the new style bottle behind this older style bottle. Eventually I'll have the Latin engraved on a new style, but I've refilled the old bottle a few times just because I like it. While I can't reach for it every time I want to enjoy Scotch, I definitely like knowing it is there. I happen to have enjoyed a glass of it last night. It was one of those weeks, and it sure felt like I had "earned" it. The subtle smokiness gives it enough complexity to make it contemplative, while still being smooth and delicious. I'm a firm believer that it is an aspirational bottle, and everyone who can, should own a bottle (or multiple) in their lifetime.

This Smooth, Bold whiskey needs nothing but a few ice cubes to enlighten your senses. It may be more expensive but it's worth every penny. It really puts the other labels to shame in my eyes but a close second would be gold label. Whether it's for yourself or a gift for someone else, this is one whiskey you shouldn't overlook

Next to maybe the Macallan 25, Johnnie Blue is one of the most infamous scotch brands in the world and it does not disappoint. Definitely sip it very slowly and neat, as the flavor will blow you away. It’s an iconic bottle and I love the special editions they release from time to time as well.

For many years, I have wanted to try Johnnie Walker Blue Label. Now, normally, I drink wine. I have subscribed to Robert Parker and Wine Spectator since 1984. Prior to my love affair with vino, I often drank socially with a buddy after work. He had a rule: from Memorial Day to Labor Day it was gin, and every thing in between was scotch, either Brand X or Johnnie Walker Black. I remembered how I came to enjoy the Black label. On a whim I recently subscribed to Whisky Advocate--perhaps because I am approaching my 70th birthday, and maybe due to mulling over my experiences with my glass of JW Black with my friend in my 20's. And for whatever reason, a few days ago, I went to a liquor store in Austin and bought 2 bottles of Johnnie Blue. I am going to crack one bottle open and drink a toast August 20'th to my 70'th trip around the sun. After the excellent review I read in Whisky Advocate and all the good chatter I have heard over the years, I know I will not be disappointed with my celebratory dram! Life is all about remembering past good times and yet still taking time out to enjoy the pleasant experiences in the present.
