Great tire! Our granddaughter has the vehicle now. But I miss the original Defender. They were a great tire. Although I think the CrossClimate 2 may be a great tire, it simply cannot replace the original defender for longevity. But we loved them and I will soon replace the OEM Pirelli tires on our replacement vehicle with the CC2!

Tires were just mounted on 6/17/26. Somewhat early to talk about wear but I notice a big difference in handling and ride already. Specs are highly rated and Michelin reputation speaks for itself. I have used them on other vehicles in the past all the way back to the mid '70s when radials were just coming into their own.

First of all, I've owned way more cars than any American should. Like in the upper 80s of personal vehicles in my 30 years of driving. You could say I have a problem. However, I consider it experience. I've driven on pretty much all makes of tire manufacturers across a variety of cars, trucks, SUVs and yep, even mini-vans. I live in southern WI, so we get everything from 110 degree heat to -40 cold including ice, deep snow and sluch, and heavy rains. Long story much shorter, I have yet to find a time in daily driving across highways, city towns, and back roads, where the Michelin CrossClimate 2s have not wildly esceeded my expectations. They take average cars and make them perform the unbelievable. Torrential downpour? Bring an umbrella to get to your car because you don't need help once you get there. 22" of snow? Grab a cup of coffee, because if you want to, you don't need to call into work and stay home. Highway driving and in town driving, experience better stopping, stability, ride quality AND tread life. This tire essentially gives 100% of all season performance, with 95% of a dedicated winter performance tire. There is a reason why I purposefully change to CrossClimate2 tires when I change cars. The only thing I wouldn't use these for is off roading or drifting. They look like they'd have a really loud tire howl but they don't. I've had cars I've put 40,000 miles on that are still over 70% of tread life with these. Stop reading this review and buy them, already! You will not be disappointed, other than wishing you had done it sooner. Not a car person, that's okay. Just a friendly heads up, you'll find yourself telling others who notice them and ask that they should buy them too!

These have great grip, braking, cornering and traction. I have a 2019 Subaru Forester Sport and I put it through it's paces on the back roads. These perform very well. During a winter snow storm, I had to re-route through a parking lot that had at least 6 inches of snow. I had no issue with traction. I used X-Mode which is Subaru's exclusive traction control option and I proceeded as if there was only an inch of snow on the ground. One thing I have noticed is that my gas mileage is reduced using these tires.

Just completed a 3,500 mile round trip on these tires. Had every type of weather with the exception of snow and they did great. Even when my GPS sent me down a road i had no business being on and had very large amounts of mud. Rain was very heavy the entire trip and never once did they lose traction and breaking was very good on wet roads. I definitely recommend these tires.

I wanted tires for my daughter car to be safe while driving in Canada in all weather conditions, (right now is raining a lot) These tires gave me that peace of mind. Also the SUV feels like new with these her new "shoes"

This is my second set of tires on my second vehicle. Loved them on my Ridgeline, love them on my Wife's HRV. Great traction, mud, rain and snow exceptional quite for an all-season tire.

I was concerned the tread pattern would be noisy, but we honestly believe they are as quiet as our former two sets. They handle well in the curves. it will be interesting to see how they handle on ice and snow.

In every way, love these tires, they were great in the snow, in the rain, on the highways, in the mountains,everywhere. They stopped great, handled great, after 8000 miles Great Feathey still look new would buy them again in a minute.

Put them on a Toyota Corolla and got stuck in heavy rain. Road almost looked like a river and the car survived because of these tries. Did not hydroplane. Get these if you ever need to go through a river. It also does good in the snow.
