I've repurchased this multiple times and will probably keep buying it. It's drugstore so it's affordable, and one bottle lasts me at least a year because I only use it after washing my hair (2-3x/week). I pump some out, rub it between my hands, and then through my hair avoiding my roots. It smells so good and has been a staple for years. It really does make my hair smooth and shiny and keeps my hair frizz-free.

I like wearing my hair slicked back in a bun and when doing this I sometimes get a few frizzy flyaways at the top of my head. I was hoping this product would help with that, but it didn't. I had to use a hair wax to tame the flyaway.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ll admit that prior to first use, I thought there was no way the Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Frizz Tamer Slick Serum Wand for Flyaways could deliver on taming the flyaway baby hairs WITHOUT turning into an oil slick. I was completely blown away after seeing how well it performed, doing just what it said it would. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of five, is because of the mascara-wand style applicator: it wants to grab the hairs as it lays down it’s magic and in my opinion it is definitely more suited for use on loose hair that is down; you have to be very careful if trying to use on hair in a ponytail or all the good the Frizz Tamer Slick Serum is doing won’t matter as you’ll be stuck redoing the ponytail. While I don’t know if I’d repurchase this item, I’ll definitely use up what I’ve got, and I’d still recommend it for anyone who wants frizz control for their fine, frizzy hair that they wear down.

This is a great product because I can use it on dry or wet hair. I put it in my hair after washing it to detangling and after styling to calm the frizz ones down. And it smells delightful!!! Love when I find a product that smells good. So that is a bonus in my eyes!

After detangling,i added conditioner and let it set for 15 minutes. Once I rinsed, my hair felt so soft and moisturized. When styling I only added more serum to place my hair into twist and a few days after, my hair was still so soft and moisturized. It smelled so heavenly. This has definitely become a staple in my hair routine.

I have fly-aways that just refuse to stay down. However, I applied this serum prior to straightening my hair and it worked wonders! I used just a small amount (a little goes a long way), and massaged it into my hair. It made it nice and shiny without making it feel oily. To top it off, the serum smells nice and fruity. I then applied the flat iron to my hair and could not believe that my hair came out completely straight without having those small hairs that tend to stick out. The serum left my hair smelling great, looking healthy and shiny. I would recommend this serum to those that have a hard time control frizzy hair and to those who want to make their dull hair look full of life.

The application of the serum is easy enough, too, but it was only effective and looked okay when I applied a little bit to wet or damp hair, NOT dry hair. It made my hair seem greasy/oily when I applied it while dry. Would also recommend blow drying it after applying instead of letting it naturally dry, so that it doesn't weigh down the hair too much. One other thing of note was the fact that many of the ingredients are unrecognizable. Overall, it's effective for curbing frizz, but as far as all-around sleekness and texture, it was hit or miss.

Honestly I was totally expecting a greasy non attractive film to coat my already oil prone hair and was pleasantly surprised. In fact the product exceeded all expections because the smell was great too. I don't give this product a five star for the sheer fact that I hate the packaging. Mine leaks a lot...however the product inside is AAAmazing!
