I was worried it wouldn't work well on my hair type but was impressed with how well it held my hair. I typically wear hair gel which I applied first but throughout the day my hair gel wears away so I followed up with this wand. It not only works but it smells amazing and does not leave behind a residue!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] first of all, i guess i didnt read very well because i definitely thought it was a mascara. after i figured out what it really was, i was like “wow what a cool concept.” ive used a lot of garnier products on my hair so and constantly have fly aways so i was excited to try this one out. to put it plainly, it wasnt the best for fly aways on me. I have a mix of 4a/4b/4c hair and it just wasnt as strong as i needed it to be. i could see this working for people with other hair types! i will say that the product itself isnt heavy (which may be why it didnt work so well for me), which i do like. I also tried it on my eyebrows for funsies, and it worked pretty decently to hold them in place.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Garnier Fructis Sleek& Shine Anti-Frizz Serum is a great product. I do not use Serums or Oil normally on my hair, because of the fear that it will look greasy, but a little bit of the Serum makes my hair looks healthy and shiny, but not greasy. I would recommend to use a little bit of the oil, not a whole pump, because that is ways too much. The smell of this product is amazing. It smells really fruity and I love it. The packaging is simple, but I wish it would be easier to dose. I noticed if I don’t take too much of the Serum (half a pump) my hand would not be oily afterwards, because with a whole pump my hands are really oily, even after applying it to my hair.

I didn’t give it a five because I have a ton of hair and the amount of product I need to cover my hair takes a lot from the tiny bottle.

It also helped defined my waves into a shiny curl, which I love! I love this product and am making it a part of my daily routine! My hair has never looked healthier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve noticed a big difference when I used this before blow drying my hair. My hair is naturally curly, but I straighten it as much as possible. Normally, my hair would be very 80’s fluffy after blow drying, in desperate need of a flat iron, but it actually looked okay. Then I slept on it, but in the morning it hadn’t gotten curly again. I still straightened it a little but it seemed to be a big improvement over my usual morning hair and saved a lot of time getting ready for work.

I have thin, wavy/curly hair (2A/B) that reaches the bottom of my neck. I generally shower at night, dry my hair with a microfiber towel, and apply the serum. Its definitely got an oily consistency but its thick enough to stay in place and doesn't run everywhere. Smelling it right out of the bottle is very strong, and reminds me of candy, but actually in my hair I don't really notice it at all. Its faintly, pleasant, and doesn't overpower or interfere with things like my perfume. On me the frizz controlling has lasted through 20mph wind and even a bit of rain! It never left my hair feeling weighed down or dirty. Used on damp hair and air dried: On damp hair this serum is a dream! It really brings out and amplifies my natural curls while doing an excellent job controlling the frizzy mop it normally is. When I wake up in the morning I have loose waves and still no sign of frizz! Its a miracle! Used on damp hair and partially blow dried: Since I live in an extremely cold climate I can't avoid the blow dryer in winter. Unfortunately for me this serum just doesn't play well with it. With my blow dryer on the lowest setting (low, warm) my hair was left crunchy, flat, and overall weird. Definitely not good for cold nights. Used on dry hair in the morning: For me personally, this was definitely the worst. It controlled my frizz, which of course was great, but it made my hair straight, limp, and lifeless. This is probably due to my hair type because my curls need to be treated right out of the shower or they'll turn into a frizzy mess. For very busy days this would work in a pinch, but its not my favorite method.
