I thought getting my 200 pound mattress cover would be the problem, but the real problems began when I tried to zip the cover closed. Forty five minutes of back and forth with a zipper that kept sucking up all the loose material next to it made me almost trash this cover before testing it out. This cover will make your bed feel much hotter also. I would only recommend using it in winter if at all.

If you have a softer mattress and you like it, you won't want this protector. Maybe all protectors would do the same thing so you should consider not using one at all. The fact that this one mentions that it won't change the feel of your mattress is why I'm writing this. It certainly will change the way it feels unless you have a firm mattress, or you have a tolerance over a wide range of mattress "feels" then you'll be okay. We have recently made the purchase of the Allswell Supreme hybrid mattress from Sam’s. (best price by far anywhere and worth buying a one-time membership) I usually like firmer mattresses and when we first started using the Allswell Supreme (before the mattress protector arrived) I was a little worried that we made a big mistake after two nights. I thought it was maybe too soft and a little warm. But from the third day on, we really liked it and I had begun to like the way you sink in a bit but then it's firm too. That feeling is now gone after we put this protector on. We’re considering taking it off and using it… well, I don’t know where we’d use it. It’s the only king bed we have! Lessons learned.

The fabric has a nice satiny feel and allows the pillowtop plushness of your actual mattress to come through and doesn't feel like a garbage bag like many other competitor's products. Furthermore, I have not had as many allergy related symptoms since I put The AllerEase Ultimate Mattress Protector on my mattress. I also don't wake up with itchy and watery eyes. This is drastic improvement! If you suffer from allergies or suspect bugs, I would highly recommend this product. Thank you so much.
