It being dust proof helps a lot if you have animals that sleep in or on the bed with you, so that is a huge plus to keeping your mattress pet hair free!

Putting it on and taking it off was a breeze. This mattress cover seals up, and washes well. Its waterproof which is a plus so body fluids, oils etc won't stain the mattress.

It's very important to my family because my husband has severe allergies. He said he could notice a significant improvement in his sleeping habits almost immediately. Also, it's waterproof. That's a big plus for me because I have toddlers who like to drink things on my bed while watching TV. Highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that this mattress protectors protects against wetness, allergens and bed bugs! The feeling of it seems a little cheap though. I have yet to wash it, a little scared it might not hold up. Overall though, it does make me feel a lot better knowing this helps to keep allergens and bedbugs away as well as protect my mattress (that is not cheap) against any spills, etc.!

This AllerEase allergy zipper mattress protector is perfect for his bed. The only downfall i have seen is when he gets in or moves inbed the protector makes a crinkling sound.

I was able to place it on my mattress by myself with considerable effort but having a helper would have made it a lot easier. The bottom of the mattress pad is the waterproof plastic layer and the top of it is soft fabric. This protector would fit the fattest pillowtop mattress around in my opinion. I had plenty of extra space once I got it on. It is a bit crinkly which I cut down on by topping with another tighter mattress pad that keeps everything in place.

It was pretty easy to put on although I did struggled a bit because I have a very deep Queen mattress. Definitely wouldn’t have taken as long had I had someone to help me. The first thing I noticed was that there was no odor! Hooray! The next thing was the feel. It felt like plastic so I wondered if it would be noisy to sleep on. For that very reason I placed a pillow topper on top of it along with my fitted sheet. Perfect! If it did make noise I definitely couldn’t hear it. Time will tell if it’s water proof. I’m completely satisfied!

I'm not sure I would use it on our bed because of the plastic. However, I do like that it keeps dust out and my fear of bed bugs is more at ease as well.
