- 5 out of 5 stars review1/19/2023First 2,000 miles my fuel mileage dipped from 41mpg to 38mpg (hybrid) but once they wore in they have been the most sure footed and quiet tires I've ever driven. I commute 120miles per day and currently have 43,000 miles on them. Still silent and trouble free. Wet/rain and snow braking and handling and overall performance makes this tire by far the best car tire on the market.

The road noise from these tires were not the Michelin quality that I have known for 44 years. I went back to the retailer that I bought them from and had 4 Michelin Defenders replace these CrossClimate2 tires. I am very happy with the Defenders.

They are extremely quiet and provide a soft and comfortable ride. We were in the mountains when a deer ran out in front of us and because of the way the tires responded we were able to avoid hitting the deer. It felt like we were in a sports car instead of an SUV. On wet roads, it feels like we are driving on dry pavement. I would definitely recommend this tire.

So far drivin in Toronto area, they handle really well in the snow and feel confident on the road. The ride is quiet and smooth, and I haven't noticed any negative impact on fuel efficiency so far Haven't had a chance to test them in warmer weather yet, so time will tell on that front. They also look great on the vehicle and give it a more aggressive, rugged look. Overall, happy with them so far.

After having 2 set of Michelin OEM tires, I switch over based on multiple personal recommendations. Having now driven on dry, rainy, and snow-covered roads, I can honestly say that I recommend these tires above all else. I have driven SUVs, Subaru's, and now a sedan. Great tires for all around traction. Little road noise, and great handling.

JWROriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/22/2023I got these tires last Dec 2022 for the winter and rain in Olympic Peninsula area… we live in a very steep hill 600ft straight up from the main road, and we had the worst winter in history with some Seattle frozen roads on my work days… it worked perfect! I am glad I never skid or slide on those days. Even had this on a winter storm when we had a family emergency drive to British Columbia and with my dual motor Tesla model 3, we never had a problem. I am glad this was recommended by an agent during my tire rotation in 2021, I looked it up and changed last 2022.

I just installed a set of Michelin CrossClimate 2 tires. These handle better than the OEM and are more surefooted on mountain roads. I read other CrossClimate2 owners were getting lower mpg so I raised the inflation 4 psi over the recommended pressure to see if that would help. Even with the higher pressure I'm now consistently averaging 34.5 MPG. 15% lower. EV's and hybrid's get a triple hit from high rolling resistance tires like the CrossClimate 2. First when running on gas only, Second from faster battery drain while using battery power only and a third from a loss in regeneration to recharge the battery when coasting or braking.

They are very wonderful looking tires, too. People notice them and compliment how nice they look. (They ask how I like them, too. I LOVE THEM ! ) They wear evenly and I believe they will exceed the 60,0000 mile warranty, again. I especially enjoy how the Michelin Cross Climate 2 grips the road and handles heavy rainfall.

Great traction--even in Ohio winter conditions. Improved gas mileage and much quieter than the equivalent Goodyear's 'best' I had before. I am about to replace my tires again--and I am not looking around--these tires are the best for every day use.

I spent days shopping for a great tire. Michelin definitely makes the best tires in the world. Been using them for 40 years. These are higher price but well worth it. No road noise at all. Same gas mileage. These are awesome tires. They definitely work very well in all types of weather. I love how they handle and look. They look sporty on my crossover SUV. Most mechanics recommend these if you can afford them. You get what you pay for. Superior quality. Highly recommend.

After reading the reviews I decided on these tires and immediately noticed a huge difference. They are SO QUIET and they handle so well. You can tell they have quick response with starting/stopping and amazing grip. Usually with cruise control on going approx. 65-70mph I get about 39-41mpg and with these new tires I now get 37-39mpg so not much of a difference. They are aggressive tires so no you aren't going to get perfect MPG however some other reviewers are being dramatic. Overall these tires are fantastic and worth every penny. Don't hesitate to buy these.

The positive: quiet ride and good grip. The negative: there is an absolutely annoying vibration that occurs at greater than 72 miles. Took it back to the Subaru dealership for rebalancing ( one week tires) . I was told those tires are expected to do that and this is why they don't have it in stock ( they had to get them them from their regional warehouse). I have at least 3 trips of 2 hours plus a month on the Kansas turnpike (75 mph speed limit) and i am REALLY not looking forward for the next 3 years….

They are as good in 3-season as the 3-seasons I ran on all my cars for the past 15 years, and as good in winter as the non-stud snows I've used on the Accord for 3 years. Fantastic in rain. Maybe 1-2 mpg cost, but a small price to pay for not having to own and swap 2 sets of rubber.
I'll buy ‘em as long as they make 'em.

We selected the Cross climate because it is supposed to be great in all weather conditions. So far, we have noticed how much nicer the car handles. It brakes better. Even the wet tread pattern it leaves on the driveway is nicer.

Besides the fact the Outback is just the best car for the mountains and snow, adding the Cross Climate's just adds that extra layer of reliability and safety. Traction is amazing in sow and rain! I would recommend these tires to anyone looking for a great all season tire!

We just got 12" of snow and these tires just track right thru and stop great in the snow I tell everone just how great these tires are.

They were great tires but wore down so I replaced them with the CrossClimate 2. These tires are a big improvement over the original. Better handling in snow especially when making turns. They're expensive but worth it.

I immediately experienced a MUCH quieter ride. On the trip itself I encountered a wide range of weather conditions: hot and windy, light rain and heavy rain, and snow/ice. These tires handled it all with aplomb. Another reviewer mentioned a decrease in mpg with these tires, and that may be the case, albeit only a slight decrease in my case. For me, the improved footing over a wider range of weather conditions is worth it.
