This was my very first purchase of a non-mainstream, commercial bottle of bourbon. My wife has always liked bourbon but she was buying named commercially available bourbons. I wanted to up her game so I went to my local liquor store where they stock unusual, high quality beer and as I later found out wines. I asked what they recommended and was given 3 choices. I chose the Russell's Reserve 10 year because some of the clients also recommended it. I now have about 300 bottles of bourbon and in that collection is the entire Russell's line of bourbons and back-ups for each bottle.

I've bought 2 bottle, just finishing my second one. This is the best value in bourbon in my opinion. I love the rye spice with the complemental caramel I get. They pair perfectly. I taste it more in these 10 years than I do in the single barrel bottle. Keep up the great work!

I tried this for the first time awhile ago because it had my name on the bottle “Russell” and the taste was so smooth and savory that I haven’t bought any other brand of bourbon or whiskey. If they ever make any merchandise or more drinks I will definitely be at the front of the line.

I tasted my first Russell Reserve 10 year in ~2015. I purchased a lot of bourbon in a rolling cooler at a JDRF auction that year. This bourbon is by far our family favorite and go to bottle. The Reserve Single Barrel is also exceptional. I find this bourbon smooth with a sweeter caramel, toffee taste. Love it, maybe too much. I expect we have purchased 200+ bottles since being introduced. Our relatives are now storing their "reserves" of pennies and dimes in the Reserve bottles.. My daughter is getting married in July and we are asking our caterer to supply Russell Reserve as the only bourbon, including a specialty drink. Are there coupons or discounts available for 20+ bottles??

Color is deep and rich. Not as dark as the 15 Year but no bad for a 10 Year Bourbon. Notes of Caramel, vanilla, burnt butter, and spices on the palette for me with a smooth finish and a little Kentucky Hug to boot. This is a staple on my bar for when I run out of the Russell's 15 Year or Wild Turkey 12 year. For $42 here in Virginia it's a must have.

Cannot beat the price point on this bottle. Especially at 10 years old it is tough to beat. This bottle is a bit more subtle than other Wild Turkey offerings. It seems to smooth out the edges but still gives you the classic WT flavors with a bit more barrel impact. But it all blends together to make an amazing pour.

I've been hunting the LL/ME in my area for over a month. There were plenty of LL/MD and LL/MF. I went with the LL?MF on sale. Hopefully some 15 year juice left? I was a good pour better than some past RR10. RR10 is always a great findable alternative to ER.

Had the opportunity to try Russell’s 10 again at our local Bourbon Club and the group went wild over the flavor. The bottle has great color and legs on presentation. The nose comes off with immediate brown sugar/caramel and that sweet oak. On the palate you get an immediate sweet flavor of the caramel/vanilla/brown sugar and finishes with and oaky flavor. The finish is short and not harsh with a marshmallow note. At 90 proof it was a easy sipper.

I break down my Bourbon by quality of friends and how they appreciate spirits. this is a wonderful glass for my GOOD friends who appreciate Bourbon. I would shift to the 15 yr for GREAT friends and downgrade to Single Barrel for Good and Great Friends who have a mild taste for Bourbon. The RickHouse and 15 are top notch ... the 10yr is a great staple for the cabinet and pretty easy to locate, unlike the 15 and well below the $$$ of RickHouse

I bought this bottle half a year ago because I’ve heard a great deal of things about RR and wanted to give it a try. The taste and quality were very high considering the amount that paid for the bottle. My next goal is to see what that Russell’s Reserve 15 is all about! Would recommend this anyone.
