I have been drinking Russell’s Reserve for years and always have a bottle on my shelf. My most recent purchase was 3 days ago. I consider myself to be something of an aficionado when it comes to bourbon as I have all ages (up to 18 years) and a wide variety of proofs (up to 130+) amongst my 150+ bottles. When I am in the mood for something with some age on it, but a little more easy-drinking, I often find myself reaching for Russell’s Reserve and it never fails to satisfy.

When I started looking at bourbons, I absolutely fell in love with Russell‘s 10 year. There’s a lot of other 10 years that are out there, but this is the one I compare them all too. I enjoy this and I am excited to share it with my friends. You can always find the stock at my bar at home. It’s perfect for any occasion and great as a mixer.

I feel like this 10 year age stated bourbon is one of the most slept on in the industry. At an MSRP under $50 this bottle gets overlooked often. This pour offers great complexity of tasting notes at a very approachable proof point which means it is one that is able to be enjoyed by bourbon newcomers and bourbon enthusiasts alike!

I’ve been a Wild Turkey 101 fan for quite a while. The Russell’s Reserve is great step up for not a big price upgrade. While you could use it as daily drinker, I prefer to drink it as something special. Be it with family, friends or a special occasion. I like it straight, on the rocks, or even in an old fashioned if my friends don’t like bourbon alone. I recommend this to everyone.

I purchased this bottle about 6 months ago and since then I have purchased two more after finishing the first one. For the price and this is a value that is hard to beat. The taste nose I get Carmel and tabaco. On the pallet I get chocolate and a hint of butterscotch it also gives me a nice hug.

I can’t really validate anything other than Russell’s 10 year, but this one is by far one of my favorite bourbons. A lot of people speak of BT and that lineup, but even the Russell’s 10 year is as good if not better than most of Buffalos line up. This bourbon is about as smooth as you can get, if you like a smooth drink even to sip on ice or not; I’d suggest this line to anyone. I wish I could try the 13 year and private selection. Need to know when it’s released again, most of the releases are available online when dropped, but I’m in Kentucky and not allowed to order online like other states.

The taste of a high dollar bourbon with a low price. I really like it.

I have had 2 bottles and I love the 10yr. Just wish the 13 was available. I really enjoy that!

Very nice bourbon that I enjoy neat and in the rocks. Readily available which is a huge plus.
