Tasted like tomato paste

I'm prepping meals for the freezer(baby on the way) and didn't want to make sauce from scratch for a lasagna. I figured I'd have to doctor this up quite a bit considering the price, but Rao's wasn't in my budget this week. To my shock and awe, this sauce is freaking awesome! Dare I say better than Rao's, Wow! I just added a few spices and some balsamic vinegar to round out the flavor buy honestly I didn't need to. It is very flavorful, even my husband, who is used to me making sauce from scratch was impressed. I will keep this in my pantry going forward as you can't beat the price!

My whole family loves this sauce and we were so disappointed to see it was no longer available.

This is a cheap replacement for the phenomenal sauce Sam's discontinued to save money. Will not be buying again, bring back the Romano sauce, it was far superior to this tomato/water mixture.

They used to carry the Bertolli which my family loved but discontinued it for this brand so we gave it a try. This is super chunky and i have to mash it up or puree it so my kids will eat it. I am also not crazy about it's flavor so I add garlic and onion which does help. This stuff is more work than I would like when buying marinara in a jar. Might as well just make it myself!
