I have run these tires on ...

I have run these tires on Ford, Chevy and Dodge trucks for over 15 years, always try to replace my factory tires with them, haven't found another tire manufacturer who can provide as good a tire and the mileage life as the LTX M/S. Being in outside sales I drive close to 50K miles a year with a mix of city and highway. I typically get 80K miles on a set with even wear down to the end with regular balance & rotation every 5K miles, lucky to get 50K miles on any others.

Best tires I've ever had

i bought 2 245/65 17 Defender M/S tires to replace the ones i had on my pickup. I had at least 70,000 miles on the old ones. With the new Defenders my ride has been excellent and I expect the wear will be the same as the old ones. Alignment has been completed regularly and rotated ever 5000 miles.

Excellent Tires

It is not every day that you come across a product that is not only suitably described by the maker. The Defender LTX M/S2 is such a product. I didn't choose them they came stock on my 2018 F-150 and I have to say Ford mede a great choice. Not only are they a quite tire, they are surefooted in the rain and give great response on dry roads. I think when you combine those two with the longevity of the tires you have a winner. I now have 49,750 miles on this original set and they look like they can go another 10,000 miles easily. I just returned from a 5,450 mile vacation trip and I was expecting to possibly have to replace them before coming home. To my surprise the tires look just like they did before I left. I am planning to replace them with the same tire when they do wear out and I am also adding a spare of the same size. Rotations will then cost a bit more for 5 tires but I expect I'll have that set for a lot longer that this one. I'm saving money with these tires that's another reason to choose them.

No Tires are Better than Michelin

I trust my 4WD Jeep and our lives to our Michelin Tires. In all kinds of weather and road conditions, I have found none any better. The smooth, quiet ride and excellent mileage without having flats are specifics that are important to us. We have no complaints because we chose Michelin as the best and they are!

Very Unhappy

I purchased 4 Michelin Defender Tires from a local tire dealer on 6/7/17. I drove the vehicle for a few days and noticed a vibration in the steering wheel at 60 mph and higher. I originally thought there was an issue with my vehicle but I was able to have my truck looked at by my local dealership and discovered that the problem wasn't with my vehicle but with the tires themselves. My dealership explained that I had 3 tires which were out of spec during the road force balance. I'm currently awaiting my tires to be replaced but the distributor I purchased them from is dragging their feet on the process. How can 3 out of 4 tires be bad?

Excellent pickup truck tire!

Awesome all season traction. These replaced my worn out AT2 tires that I also liked. When the new defenders were installed, I noted an average 28 to 32 km gain per tank of fuel for my truck. I’m very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend them for any light duty pickup truck owner

Simply the best all season tires.

We have been driving with MICHELIN LTX MS for a long time. They are quite riding, long lasting with good fuel mileage. Excellent in rain and snow but not icey roads. I have used them year round with no problems and we get a lot of snow. But we do prefer studded tires for icey roads.

Quiet, excellent wet and dry traction, excellent directional control and braking. My LTX/MS tires have an aggressive and robust look that complement my Ford F150 truck. My wife told me the truck seemed to be easier for her to handle with these tires.I would highly recommend these tires.I have Michelin tires on my Honda CRV ,my Dodge Intrepid R/T and my Dodge Caravan .I recommend these tires to friends and family members alike.

Michelin LTX MS original and Michelin Defender LTX M/S

I had the original Michelin LTX MS and now have about 500 miles on the new Defender LTX MS. I think Michelin really got it right with the whole design of this tire. The original LTX is a great beloved tire. It provides good all season traction, a smooth quiet ride and decent tread life. I see the difference to the LTX MS2 and the Defender LTX I am driving is mostly in the outer shoulder block tread design. Its not open so water and slush can evacuate more easily. I like this idea. So far I love the new Defender. My only advice to Michelin and keep a decent tread depth on your tires. For an SUV or truck 11/32 should be the minimum.
