I have had two sets of these tires. One set on a 4x4 4 dr Chevy Blazer and 4x4 GMC Envoy. These tires are great in the slush and snow of upstate New York. I have great confidence driving in 4x4 with my LTX tires. They are well worth the money except i wish they did not wear so fast. Not a great a ride on the highway as the Cross Terrian tires i previously had.

I bought the Michelin Defender tires to replace the Michelin tires that came on my 2019 Ford F150 truck. The new tires have excellent traction and stability dealing with all kinds of road conditions. Like the original set, the new Michelin tires are the most quiet truck tires I've ever had, with absolutely no road whine. When the time comes, I'll definitely look at Michelin first.

I purchased these units a few months ago and I am not pleased with the handling characteristic's. On straight roads, Hwy's, there good. In mountain roads, Hwy's, they seem to roll. (Soft side wall?) I have purchased many Michelin's over the years and have them on my other vehicles. However, I am very disappointed and not convenient for used on fool weather roads. My intention is to replace them with another manufacture.

I just put these on my 2017 Tacoma TRD off road 4x4 and so far, they’re great! Took them on the highway after installing and no noise at 70+ mph. Ride comfort is great. Interested in seeing how they perform in rain as my stock tires didn’t do so well.

I have run these tires on Ford, Chevy and Dodge trucks for over 15 years, always try to replace my factory tires with them, haven't found another tire manufacturer who can provide as good a tire and the mileage life as the LTX M/S. Being in outside sales I drive close to 50K miles a year with a mix of city and highway. I typically get 80K miles on a set with even wear down to the end with regular balance & rotation every 5K miles, lucky to get 50K miles on any others.

You get what you pay for, and the Michelin Defender LTX M&S are by no means the cheapest tire out there. I have tried many other brands of tires, but always come back to this one. If you looking for smooth, quiet ride, good traction & long wear look no further. Over 10K miles driven so far, I fully expect to get nearly 50K out of every set and I never let the tread levels wear down completely on my tires. I drive a mix of highway miles, windy mountain roads, rocky/dirt/gravel roads, rain and snow and these tires hold up better than all the rest.

These tires are on our 2005 Class C motorhome. Although we don't put many miles on this vehicle, we have never had a problem with these tires. They are comfortable and give very good control and riding comfort. We had to drive during a period of severe winds and rain for about 5 hours, and we were amazed that we did not suffer any loss of directional stability or traction. Also, these tires appear to be resisting weather checking and any signs of aging. Tread wear is excellent.

I am a big Michelin tire fan I think they are great tires until I bought these tires they were great for the first 3,000 miles but then it started the ROAD NOISE ! it drives me crazy. I bought them for my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland it was the worst thing that I could have done. They hold the road great in all types of weather but the noise drives me crazy.

Vacation this year was to Florida and as we were driving through Georgia we encountered a series of very heavy rain storms. the rain was heavy enough to slow traffic to 30 miles and below on I-75. when we got to our destination for that night the second vehicle that we were traveling with was remarking about all the hydroplaning that they had experienced. we were surprised because we had not experienced any even though there were times there was water on the highway. I attribute this to my Michelin tires and I am glad that they always keep me and my family safe.

I use them on summer rims I was told buy my mechanic 1 had a bad belt that's why my car was shaking and tires were bumpy and uneven wearing I thought I might of had a bad rim but it was the tires only had on the the car 3 summers maybe 15k on them still have a lot of tread but now I need to get new tires not too happy I had the Energys before I loved those but not these ones
