No good in a disaster.

I purchased the 132. It took water and power to prepare. 15 minutes of electricity for a one-person serving. Had to measure to get right amount and since the packet was to serve more, the flavoring had to measured out. Tasted okay, but I could have opened a $2 can of soup and been done in a minute. I have had canned food last over 20 years. In a disaster there would probably be no water or power. In an emergency, we would like have no power or water, so I do not consider this as dependable as canned food ready to eat that requires no water or power.

Great Emergency Food Bucket!!!!

This is a complete emergency bucket and at a great price. We have shopped around and have bought quite a few emergency food kits in the past, and have used them during a flood and also on a few camping trips. This one really has it all and the food tastes good. We have had a few of the entrees in this bucket and we would rate them a 8 out of 10 for taste in the dehydrated food world. If you are looking for a food bucket, this one should be at the top of your list. We bought one for each member of our family and are very happy. We used to make our own emergency food supply but its a full time job sometimes just keeping up on replacing things and keeping up on dates things expire. This is good for 25 years...... and there is nothing to do but store the buckets. There are waterproof and bugs and mice can not get in them. Has made emergency planning very easy. Thank you

Need to make Paleo version of this

Sadly, we can’t eat this because of medical issues since it has dairy, and gluten and legumes. I have to eat Paleo for medical reasons. I can have Eggs and very small amounts of rice and quinoa no wheat or corn but most people on Paleo do not eat them. The company would corner the market if they create a Paleo, a Keto, a Vegetarian and a Vegan version of this because no one else will bother for people with special medical diet restrictions.

Misleading Product Label

The products label is misleading. On the front (what you see in the picture) it says 124 servings, and on the back, it says enough food for 7 days. That's 21 five course meals. Who needs 5 courses, 3 times a day, to survive?

not a well-balanced meal bucket; mostly carbs

At *best*, use this to supplement other long-term food storage (i.e. canned or freeze-dried meats and fats). As of April 2022, you can get this at another big-box "cost" company store for $55.

Over priced! Half the price at Costco

Purchase this item at Cosco. It’s half the price. Very over priced here. Good item to keep on hand.
