I got the griddle at KOHL’S and like it very much. It was easy to set up. The only problem I experienced involved temperature settings. To make pancakes, 325 is mandatory. My griddle does not have accurate temperature controls. Lucky for me, there was a candy thermometer in the kitchen. It took a lot of time and adjustment to get the temperature set correctly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This griddle is a nice size and is super easy to clean! It heats up fairly quick and had no chemical odor like most new appliances do when you first use them. It came with a recipe book and I have already cooked many tasty meals from it.

I replaced my old grill because it was very difficult to control the temperature and initially burned the first sider. This griddle does not do that. I was a little disappointed that when cooking pancakes near the heating element, it does not cook evenly. I did allow the unit to preheat. This is my only issue. I love the design and the surface is so much better and easier to clean than my old ceramic one.

Since I use it so often I wanted one that would look nice out on my counter and this one fits the bill. Besides looking nice it also works great. It heats evenly and is nonstick.

Yes the griddle is removable for washing but the probe holes could still get wet. Our last griddle( not dash) quit working from corrosion in those holes. Yes you need to let it dry completely before use. It is easy to wash in the sink without the base. Read the manual.The griddle works great for our daily pancakes and bacon. I'd like to try hamburgers but worry about heating where there is no food to cook. I have several Dash products and they are durable and I do use them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this for cooking breakfast with eggs, pancakes, and sausage. The griddle I replaced got really hot at just half way on so it took a while to get used to this one because I had to turn it to at least 5 just to cook pancakes, so there is a lot of wiggle room at the low end of the heat control. That works well for pancakes and eggs but took a little long for sausage. It is easy to clean and doesn't have a natural slope so the eggs stay in place.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Freaking love this griddle! So easy to use and clean. The large surface area I can cook two pancakes and eggs all on the same grill instead of having a few pans going! Grease catch, but it never gets that bad.

I’ve only used it once so far but the experience was fast and easy, it usually takes me an hour at minimum too cook breakfast for a family of four but with the size of this grill, I was done in about 25 to 30 minutes! It got hot really quick and setup was also a breeze.. the nonstick is out of this world. It was very easy to clean afterward.. just spray and wipe! Looking forward to my next meal on it already!
