Received the set and they were both broken. I didn't realize the parts in the weights were plastic until pieces of them fell out when I opened the box.

These are simple to use once you learn to turn the knobs in opposite directions. The whole family can use them and they take up less room than individual pairs of dumbbells, even on a stand.
