One of the best tires I have ever owned. The Super Sport summer tires gives me confidence on all road conditions. This tire has grip in wet or dry weather. The offer me full control when approaching sharp curves and rounding corners. My MB C300 Spot 4 Matic already handled well the Super Sport makes it even better. My tire installer told me when I got these tires that thy had "hops" in the front pair and I am not sure what that means. What is a "hop"? I just hope that these "hopped" tires don't translate into premature wear. The only thing I don't like about these tires is that I will have to take them off in the winter.

Best tires I've ever owned; I've tried a few different tires for track days and by far these are the best handling and comfort wise . I put about 8k on these and still have 8/32 wear. These are the perfect tire for any driving enthusiast. Definitely will be buying Michelin for my other cars as well. You know their a good tire if Porsche and other high end sport cars put them on as a stock tire . Thanks for making the perfect tire :)

I live in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina by choice mainly because of the outstanding paved mountain roads in this area. I drive a 2007 Corvette Z06 and have recently purchased the Pilot Super Sport tires. This tire was made for the Z06; at least in my opinion. Everything about the car is better; braking, turn-in, corner speed and exit speed. I also have a spare set of wheels with Sport Cup tires and the Super Sports are not far behind the Sport Cups in traction but much better in any standing water. I have a 21 year old Grandson that drives a RX8 and he asked me what would be the best upgrade for his money. I recommended he install Super Sport tires for his upgrade and he loves the way it made the car handle. Only downside is they are expensive but well worth it.

Purchased Pilot Super sports about 500 miles ago for my Cayman. Replaced PS2s. Handling and braking is excellent, ride seems a little smother. But than again my old tires were 6 years old and rubber probably hardened up by now. Very happy with my selection.

I custom - ordered my E92 BMW 335ix new in 2008 to get it equipped as I wanted, then had it upgraded with Dinan parts. The one thing I could not get around was the factory run-flat tires. At 30,000 miles, I replaced them with non- run-flats, and liked them, but one of the tires wore pre-maturely, and the manufacturer wouldn't adjust it. I knew what to do. I purchased a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports, which I had avoided earlier in an attempt to save a bit of money. After approximately 3,000 miles I wish I bought the Super Sports last time. They "Contact" the highway better, they are silent and absolutely smooth. From past years of Michelin ownership, I know if I have a problem, the company will stand behind their products.

Got a set of these for my 02 Mustang GT Convertible and all I can say is,"SWEET"!!! I've ran different brands but,nothing I've used can come close to these bad boys. I'm wanting to run a 315/35/17 on the rear and was unable to find them in a Super Sport. Great tire,Michelin.

I have had the Michelin Super Sport tires on my Corvette C6 Z06 for 12,000 miles in 18 inch and 19 inch sizes. I'm very pleased with the tires cornering improvement, better tire grip, low road noise, greater high speed stability, excellent tire wear and overall quality. I drive my Z06 on long road trips and aggressive mountain drives. The Michelin PSS tires perform flawlessly. I would definitely buy these tires for my Corvette or my other cars in the future. I am on my second set of these on my Audi Avant (255/35/19) and am very impressed. They are incredibly durable and when I do track days in the rain I leave these on and they have performed very well for a street tire. The only problem I ever encountered was at a two day track event where I expected rain and instead encountered 90-100+ temps. The edges of the tread blocks did incur some chunking but with more than 3 degrees negative camber and high temps, it was not unexpected. Overall wear was minor even with that abuse...and that is a 4000 lb wagon being pushed to keep up with so called "sports cars" By comparison, the OEM tires from an Italian manufacturer wore out very quickly and were prone to flat spotting if the car sat undriven for a week or more. Two other models from a German company were noisy and also lasted less than 12k miles each. I should disclose that I have been given 2 sets of The Italian company's tires and currently have a third set of their Dot-R compound tires mounted on my track wheels. Regardless, I prefer the Michelin Pilot Super Sport and think it is a phenomenal tire for longevity as well as grip all with minimal tire noise. I recommend them to all of my friends seeking high quality perfomance street tires that last and know that a set will soon be replacing the older Michelin PS2's currently on my Mercedes E55 AMG. Please make these in a size for my Cayenne Turbo (295/35/21)

Just put the Super Sports on my 2005 Porsche Boxster and I am absolutely beyond impressed! These new tires already handle better, ride better, look better, and sound better than my original Pilot Sports ever did. The only downfall was I had to wait 2 months on back order until they finally arrived. However, it was most certainly worth the wait.

Replaced my 2010 Audi Q5 OEM 'high performance' tires with the Michelin Pilot Super Sport XL long before necessary. The Audi OEM tires were very noisy at all speeds, giving me a headache on long trips. What a remarkable change, installing the Pilot Super Sports ! My reward was a very quiet ride plus allowing me to enjoy my premium sound system while driving. The wet weather handling at high speed has improved dramatically. The Pilot Super Sports are a great, long wearing tire and I recommend them to everyone.
