Quiet, comfortable ride.

I asked my dealer specifically for a tire that combined a comfortable, quiet ride with good handling and a decent life span. They recommended the Latitude Tour tire. They have been on for 1 week, and I am not disappointed so far. They have reached 3 out of 4 objectives, time will tell how they wear.

Great Performer

These tires came installed on my new 2011 Buick Enclave. Over the next two years and 50,000 miles they performed flawlessly, keeping me out of danger during quick stops and bad weather numerous times. Combined with my Enclave's all-wheel-drive I never had a problem in any snow conditions, which, believe me, in Upstate New York can be quite treacherous. So when it came time to replace my tires I decided to go with the exact same type I had been riding on since I bought the car. I am now looking forward to another few years of great handling and troublefree driving. Thanks, Michelin, for making such a wonderful performing tire for everyday driving.

The Best

The Ford Escape has some of the worst road noise of any car on the market. Just do a search for all of the complaints and issues associated with the car this way. The Michelin Latitude Tour tires were the ONLY set of tires I could find that reduced road noise, and they were recommended by the Ford dealer as the best tire. They grip the road really well, I've had no issues at all with them. They are just great tires and I recommend them.

Work & play truck

I bought a set of LTX AT2 tires in Sept 2012 now Nov 2017 have 105000 km on them with approx 30% tread wear left. Use at work every day and do a fair bit of off road driving (hunting & fishing); have never had a flat tire - these tires are great on gravel roads. Driven them year round and we have winter from November into April - excellent tires and I highly recommend these tires; a bit pricey but well worth the extra cost. The first 3 winters traction was good but last winter they were not as good; other than that no complaints and thinking about buying Michelin's again.

Did not last

Only got 45K miles (65K rated) before needing replacement. I had to replace two due to a flat so decided to do all 4 since the tech said I would probably not pass state inspection later in the year. That would have given 50k miles of functional life. Performed regular rotation and balancing per recommendations and no alignment issues. Nothing off road, basic mix of highway and local driving and no alignment issues with the vehicle. Very disappointed in these tires and may look at a different brand.

Desert Heat

We live in a dry heat environment and it is very taxing on tires. The tread usually does not wear out. It is the sidewalls that start to crack. To keep the cracking at bay, one needs to keep the tire properly insulated. Driving on the tires, keep the oils in the rubber, elastic. Using tire cleaner causes it to dry out fast in the dry heat. There needs to be a better way to keep the oils in the rubber for better elasticity. Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for the opportunity to comment.

I LOVE these tires! They ...

I LOVE these tires! They have lasted 80,000+ miles and have been the most dependable and worry free tires I have ever owned. The ride is quiet and comfortable and I have never had a single problem with them. I will definitely be purchasing these tires again.

I love these tires!

I bought these tires for my wife's car. She drives to work on the interstate and I wanted a dependable and reliable tire to help ensure her safety. These tires have a great rating for traction, heat, and also wear. The ride is very smooth and good braking distance. I would buy these again when needed.

Great tire

I have had the Latitude Tour on my Nissan Murano for 2 years and 66,000 miles and they still have tread and drive well although I will replace them before the snow flies this winter. They have been quiet, solid, grippy and smooth on the road. I drive mostly highway miles but also do a lot of winter driving. There are excellent in the snow and track beautifully in slush as well. They are far better than the original tires in every aspect. The gas mileage is the same as the original tires. All in all a wonderful tire and worth the extra money due to the tread wear and solid driving characteristics.

A very smooth riding and handling tire.

First of all, we prefer to purchase or own Michelin tires for our cars. We have either installed or replaced tires on all of our automobiles with Michelins when we could. I spent over 20 years in the military (US Air Force) and my family and I traveled all over the United States and abroad. Michelin tires are always dependable, safe, remained properly balanced, and continually give us a smooth ride. In fact, they are hard to wear out, if a person keeps them properly balanced, inflated and rotated! We have not found a single fault with our Michelin tires and we have been driving on Michelin tires since at least the 70's or longer. We love our Michelin tires!
