Awesome! Safe and Security

I have 140 km on my SUV Ford Escape with Michelin tires on it. They have been a beautiful tire giving me a quite safe great handling tire in all road conditions ice snow wet summer and winter. Michelin tires are the best now I am retiring these tires for Michilin x2 ice tires. Go Michelin Go.

For many years, Michelin ...

For many years, Michelin tires have been my first choice. However, over the past few years, cost factors have been an issue. But,I have since learned that Michelin's ultimately offer the best value vs cost.Consequently when I buy the next set of tires, Michelins will be on my vehicle.

After the oringinal set ...

After the oringinal set of tires was expired at only 14000 on my 2006 mercedes ML500 I purschased the latitude tour. The quiet ride, excellant cornering, rain traction were greater apparent. The wear was more than twice of the original tires and they wore very evenly and provided an excellant driving experience for the totoal mileage. I am now on my second set of latitude tours and continue to enjoy the tires very much.

What gives? Original tires on my Equinox

I haven't had any problems with tires (leased cars and purchased cars from 1995-2021 approximately 9 cars) until one year ago. I purchased a used Equinox 2016 from my dealership in excellent shape with 48600 miles Michelin Latitude Tour tires. Almost immediately I'm adding air every few weeks for tire #1 and every week for tire #2. I'm retired, I'm disabled, I only used 2400 miles for the whole year which is difficult for me to add air to tires every week or two. Mechanic/dealership said the problem is I don't use my car often enough. Then two different mechanics said you need to purchase 4 new tires, you can't change/purchase 2 tires and leave the 2 old tires on the car. I was told I have the best tires but I'm trapped. I cannot drive 100+ highway miles without checking and usually adding air for my tire. I just had my state inspection which passed, tire rotation, my odometer is approximately 51,000 ... I read Michelin backs these Latitude tires for 65,000 miles. I'm just disappointed.

Loriann627, we understand how frustrating this could be. Unfortunately, the warranty on the tires that were equipped on the 2016 vehicle when it was new does not apply to the second owner of the vehicle. We will gladly speak to your local retailer regarding the condition of the tires since there is an issue with the tires leaking air. Please have them contact us at 866-866-6605.

Great Tire Best I have ever purchased

Great tire, this is the 3rd set of tires I have purchased for my 1998 Ford F150 pickup. All other tires never would stay in balance. These Michelins are so smooth, can't even tell you are moving. More money but well worth the cost very great value. I will never purchase anything but Michelins again. A+++++

Short life

Came stock on my 2015 Grand Cherokee. Noticed abnormal wear on outside ribs within 2000 miles. Contacted the dealer, they put it on the alignment rack and said it was perfect. With regular rotations they were down to about 4/32 at 25,500 miles. Snow and ice performance was absolutely horrible. Replaced with a set of BFG All Terrains.

Great Tire

Love the way they handle, there is no road noise, great ride. I do a lot of driving in all types of weather, including snow and ice. I have always been a Michelin girl and when the original tires on my SUV needed replacing I headed straight for the Michelin Latitude Tour. Would highly recommend

warning dry rot

I am retired and only drive for pleasure. I thought my tires were fine when I took the car for an oil change and tire rotation. Then the service manager approached me and told me that the tread on the sides of all the tires was pulling away from the tires and I should replace them all. I said I only have 26000 miles on them and that can't be. I looked and sure enough I could see the separation. The side walls seem dry rotted also. I could not find a recall notice so I'm at a loss as what rights I have. As I said I'm retired and on a fixed income I can't afford to buy new tires every three years.

Desert Heat

We live in a dry heat environment and it is very taxing on tires. The tread usually does not wear out. It is the sidewalls that start to crack. To keep the cracking at bay, one needs to keep the tire properly insulated. Driving on the tires, keep the oils in the rubber, elastic. Using tire cleaner causes it to dry out fast in the dry heat. There needs to be a better way to keep the oils in the rubber for better elasticity. Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for the opportunity to comment.

Nice riding tire

My Michelin tires ride exceptionally well. It rains a lot in the summer where I live, so gripping the road with good tires is important and my Michelin tires have outstanding road stability with a wet road. The set of tires prior to the Michelin tires I now have were Michelin tires, same type, of which I had no trouble with, the ride was good and the tires helped my car stop safely when an unexpected stop was required. I've never had an issue with a Michelin tire and I've been buying them for years.
