Carrying on a Michelin tradition

My father told me he always bought Michelin because they were the best, safest tire for the money. That never meant much until I had a family of my own. I only use Michelin for my family car. They last longer than ""bargin" tires and they look good! I carry on the Michelin family tradition.

Great set of All Season Tires

P255/65R16 106T Latitude Tour on an ML320 first series SUV. The tires are holding up well with just over 63k miles over 64 months. The first 18 months (14k mi) were in New England and the tires performed well through two northern winters. Snow traction was excellent as was wet traction. The last 48k miles have been in south Florida, mostly highway miles. Treadwear is excellent with about 4 to 5/32 of depth across the widths of each tire. (Tire rotation schedule and alignment issues with the car are main culprits for the uneven tire wear). Wet weather driving at highway speed in Florida has been great with zero hydroplaning (on 255s) along with confident braking. Dry weather driving is relatively quiet as is expected from all season tires. Mileage for the ML320 at highway driving is consistently 20mpg which I attribute 1-2 miles on the tire model. The previous tires were also Michelins but were H rated, lower tread life tires. I was initially concerned with "T" (118mph) speed rating, "B" temp rating, and 106 load index (2,094lb) for Florida drivers tend to consistently speed beyond the 70 MPH law. The ML is a heavy SUV with gross weight of 6000lbs. Front and Rear GAWR are 2550 & 3550 lbs respectively. A typical workday round trip is 140 miles highway driving 3-4 times a week. Additionally, was also concerned about the Florida heat and sun as the vehicle was not parked under cover for most of the last three years. As such, there is cracking all along the circumference of the tire walls (dry rot cracking, maybe). At this point, I am pleased with the performance and longevity of these Latitude Tours and may likely keep them on until the warranty period end (or another 2k miles). As a side note, I would purchase these again for a vehicle that I expected to keep a long time. These tires were a great investment.

So far, so good.

This set of Michelin Latitude Tour tires replaces a set with 55,0000 miles on my Escalade. I actually had probably another 20,000 miles of tread left but one tire had a seperation problem. This was the second bad Michelin I've had in 47 years of having them on every car or truck I've owned and it may have been damaged at my fault. Anyway, the new set has only a few hundred miles on them, but they seem quieter and smoother than the set that was replaced. So far, so good.

Excellent Tire

Have been using this tire on my 2003 Nissan Murano since 5/13. Most of my driving is on highways and a quiet tire with excellent rain handling is critical. So far the Latitude has been performing extremely well and I can certainly recommend this tire for other vehicles in the SUV/Crossover class.

I like them a lot

I've been buying tires for about 50 years, yet this is my first set of Michelins. I now know what I've been missing. Great ride, quite and solid feel. I have a Grand Cherokee and tires have been tires, now I notice them because they are so good. Only have 2,000 miles on them so far, but I like what I have experienced.

I had been very ...

I had been very disappointed with the original tires that came with my car, so when it was time to replace them, I got Michelins for the first time. An immediate added plus was that they are super quiet, and I got slightly improved gas mileage. I haven't used them in snow yet, but they've performed really well in sudden, deep rains, including having to brake rapidly to avoid a huge load of lumber a truck had just spilled in front of me on a highway. As a mother, I'm very happy to know I've got a very safe tire on my car.

Great Ride and handling!

I wanted a tire to provide a comfortable ride that would have good handling and breaking in all weather conditions. With the Michelin Latitude Tour I have not been disappointed. These new tires give my old car a new car feel and they make me feel safe when driving in rain, snow or dry pavement. I am very satisfied with these tires and will definately buy Michelins for my next tire purchase.

Great tire for the Colorado Mountains

The MICHELIN Latitude Tour on my 2014 Subaru Forester XT is the best all season tire that I have ever had. I drive a lot of miles in the mountains and a fair amount around the city. My commute includes 43 miles of narrow, curvy mountain roads, including 10 miles of dirt/gravel. This tire enables my Subaru to be the best vehicle I have owned for both summer and winter. In summer it is great grip on paved and dirt roads, and when winter comes around it really shines on the hard packed snow and icy mountain roads.

Thank You Michelin

Thank you Michelin for being honest with your advertised tire expectations. My 2015 F 350 King Ranch came with factory installed LT 275/65R20 E 126R LTX A/T2, and I must admit they are the best tire I have ever owned. I drive a lot of miles for work, and for pleasure I pull a 43’ 5th wheel trailer. I have driven through just about every weather and road condition throughout North America and I must say the tire has performed exceptionally in every application. Currently I have 147,000 kilometers or 91,400 miles. Every tire looks good with and average of 8/32 tread left. You can be assured I will stick with the LTX AT2 when it is time to repla

great tires

I drive 2003 Denali XL. I put them on just before a 2600 mile drive to Canada for a guys fishing trip. I wanted a good freeway tire, quite and good gas mileage. I have only put 5K miles on these tires, but have been very happy with them. The ride is very smooth and they even look nice. Hoping to get the 65K mile warranty out of them as every other tire brand I have tried has not even come close to the mileage warranty.
