I have the cup tires on my GT3, the Ice tires on my mazdaspeed6. And so I bought these for my '18 Model S 100D. They replaced the "quiet" Goodyears OEM at 23,500 miles. After installing the Pilot Sports, I immediately went to the Tesla Service Center in St. Bruno , Quebec for a wheel alignment. I have never touched a curb with the wheels but the car needed an alignment. At this point they are about as quiet as the goodyears. They seem to handle bettter too, but the wheel alignment helped with that too. I have never had a bad experience with Michelins. Even though I purchased them last Winter I just had them installed.

These tires have great grip even in the heaviest of rains however you pay for this with 15-20% range loss in all driving conditions in my Tesla Model 3. I normally only drive it locally but now I can't really take it on long trips because it will require charging stops.

I live in NJ and put these on my car in October. Debated getting winter tires but wasn't sure if I needed something that extreme. Replaced the stock pilot sport 4S (also a great tire) to get ready for cold, wet, and sometimes snowy roads here in northern NJ. Have 3500 miles on them currently and couldn't be happier. Very confidence inspiring tires in the extreme cold and wet or dusting of snow and are capable in a few inches of snow on the road. MPG is down 1-2 miles and I haven't noticed the road noise that some people mention. Very happy so far.

Had to replace the tires on my 2018 Civic Sport and I can't believe the difference. I previously had some “high-performance” Falken tires that weren't bad but after a couple days with the Michelin Sport A/S 4s I finally understand. This is the first Michelin performance tire I have ever driven on and my car is a completely different machine on these tires. The level of grip is superior to any tire I have ever had, even in the rain. My car feels like it is floating until I cut the wheel and suddenly it becomes glued to the blacktop. I am a very aggressive driver and understand the value of having tires you can trust on your car and I love these tires!!!

I no longer engage in terribly spirited driving (its been 25 years since racing school), but I still appreciate a superior sticky tire. I have also gained a fondness for a quiet , smooth ride, which you normally don't expect with a performance tire. I was therefore pleasantly surprised at how much these tires delivered all these qualities with so few of the usual compromises. For my purposes, this was an excellent choice, with much more grip than the OEM tires, and equal smoothness and very little more road noise. Unless you think you want a super stickey tire ( and are willing to pay the price in dollars and discomfort), I recommend the A/S 4. It looks like the new standard for an all season performance tire.

My car seems to ride a little harder, than before. I removed Continental tires from my Mercedes C300.The ride sounds loud,if that makes since. But for the price I guess that was pretty good. Not to mention the warranty that came with them. Life of the tire balancing, rotation, etc, etc.

I drive a RWD P85+ Tesla Model S, which is both heavy and up until last winter had staggered 21” wheels. I was used to buying a new set of Pilot Sport 4S for the rear every 10-12k miles, which is to be expected, but not welcomed on that setup. I switch to 20” square rims front and aft, and also switched to Pilot Sport AS 4's ,245/45/ZR20 99Y, and couldn't be happier. Now that I can rotate tires life if grand. I'm used to extremely irregular wear and regular pinch flats, but I've got things nailed down now. Tire wear with theses tire is even, traction is more than adequate and tire noise is drastically reduced.

Bought these tires about a year ago and have no complaints at all!! They're much grippier than my old tires and are whisper quiet. Unfortunately, my MPG has taken a slight hit, but that's a small price to pay for much more confident braking and handling.

I've had my tires for about 9 months now and they're awesome!! My previous set of tires were the Continental Extremecontact DWS06. If I were to compare the two, in terms of performance and comfort, the Pilot Sport A/S 4 has been quite a bit better in the dry and wet weather...gas mileage is approximately the same for both tires. I haven't had the opportunity to drive in the snow so I don't know which tires are better. But in terms of treadwear, I would give a slight edge to the Continentals.

Purchased these AS/4 tires to replace factory Pilot Sport Cup tires at 10,002 miles. These tires are much quiter with improved ride and very good lateral grip. They will go up in smoke with a hard launch or agressive accelration out of a hard turn. However; under normal driving conditions they are great. Highly recommened to anyone daily driving a high performance sports car.
