Faith In Four

I purchased this very set 7 yrs ago for my '95 Z-71 SLE GMC which has 270,000 plus miles and never been happier with a single set of tires. I have driven these tires for 73,000 miles and still have 3/16 thread left on them. Being the frist owner of this truck (and yes, it is in immaculate condition all original), it has never been off road, but it has been thru some severe snow storms and have passed several trucks when roads have been bad. As far as rain, I've never been more confident in a set of Michelin tires, than these.

Love my Michelins

With almost 150,000 miles on my 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe, I just recently installed my third set of Michelins. Even though we also own a 2012 Ford Explorer, we always drive the older Tahoe on trips because the Explorer came with another brand of tires that assure we hear and feel every crack in the highway. My Michelins are smooth and quiet, and they make my wife and I feel safer when driving in rain. At age 67, I have tried many different brands of tires over the years and have learned the hard way that when it comes to buying tires, it is not only wise to buy the best, but the extra long tread life makes it the best economic decision as well. Love my Michelins!!!

Best Ride and Safe Tires

I was doing an oil change on my 2004 Tundra and asked my wife to look at the previous receipt for the last set of these same tires. She said 80,000 miles and ten years ago. although the tread was still good, I had noticed some steering wheel wabble at low speed and a slight pull to the left and had two shops check the alignment on my 120K miles Tundra. They both said your alignment is fine, so I drove it for a year or so trying rotation without a cure. I told her "These tires are good, but Old and hard". I put on this fresh set and Wala! no more vibration and no pull. Man this thing rides like the Tundra should. I know these tires are $$ but worth it to me. By the way I got 100,000 miles on the same Michelin Defenders on my Honda CRV.

I put these onto my 2004 ...

I put these onto my 2004 Tacoma when I first purchased it new and after 6 years & 95,000 miles, I've decided to replace them with another set.. I've driven on them 60 miles roundtrip to work everyday - in snow and blistering heat. All I've ever done is rotated and balanced... I couldn't be any happier!

Very Noisy and Rough Riding

I have had 3 sets of Defenders on my 2006 4Runner and I they were great tires for 210,000 miles. I decided to buy a set for my 2018 Grand Cherokee. I made a expensive mistake. They are very loud and very rough riding. They have changed the whole demeaner of my SUV. I have only had them for a week and about 500 miles but I have talked to the dealer about changing tires. He suggested Latitude Touring which was the OEM tire on my Jeep. I only got 29,000 miles out of those. I really need to find a solution. Can I change out for the Premier series? Thanks

Defenders on 2014 GMC Sierra

I needed to replace my stock Good Year Wranglers which I considered good tires at 95K. After careful research I settled on The Michelin Defender LTX M/S and they have exceeded my expectations in the first six weeks of driving. I am mostly highway with a mix of city driving averaging about 400 KM a week in northern Manitoba. The first week I had the tire we had constant wet greasy snow and for the last few weeks a mix of -30 to -10 and intermittent snow. These tires have exceeded my expectations for traction on the snow covered and slippery roads during acceleration cruise and stopping. They are quiet and provide a comfortable ride.

Great all around tire.

I’ve had these tires for 10,000 miles now. I commute daily 40 miles and use my truck for construction as my side business. I’ve had well over 14k with trailer and equipment for on these tires for well over 2000 of those miles and these tires have shown little to no wear. Obviously, they don’t have the aggressive tread of other tires but I have gotten around muddy and clay job sites fine. I always use my truck around our farm daily and haven’t gotten stuck in my pastures. After running over 20 different brands and treads of tires these are the best of all worlds for highway, work, and farm chores. If you’re feeding cows daily in heavy mud I would get a mud terrain tire as my other truck that never hits the highway has, but these are good on your primary rig. Highway driving us superior with the Michelins. Minor, ever so slight noise at higher speeds, but infinitely quieter than any AT I have ever ran. I would go rock crawling with these tires, but great for daily use. I bought 10 ply.

Unbelieveable

Purchased a 5 year old sport trac with 69000 miles. It had new Michelin LTX M/S tires. At 175000 miles and 106000 miles on the tires, I am wondering if they are ever going to wear out? Light hauling, highway miles, some trailering. Great all season tire .Best I have ever owned. Thank You Michelin Man

Smoother and more stable.

These make my 2004 explorer more stable, quieter, and overall a much smoother ride. It literally changed the way the entire ride feels. It's not as splashy (sways less also) and definitely feels much more solid, but not firm or harsh. Wet weather is no problem and it handles snow well also. Would have bought M/S 2's but they were not available in size I needed fort limited edition explorer.

MICHELIN TIRES ARE THE BEST

MICHELIN TIRES ARE LIKE A PART OF "THE FAMILY". THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN USED IN MY FAMILY FOR MANY YEARS . I REMEMBER AS A TEENAGER, MICHELIN WAS THE ONLY TIRE MY PARENTS WOULD PURCHASE FOR THEIR VEHICLES. THEN WHEN I GOT MARRIED, "MICHELIN TIRES" STAYED IN THE FAMILY. MY HUSBAND AND I OWN FIVE VEHICLES, MERCEDES, CORVETTE, TWO DODGE RAMS AND JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LAREDO. ALL VECHILES HAVE MICHELIN TIRES. THE MICHELIN PRODUCTS PROVIDES THE BEST MILEAGE, PERFORMANCE, WARRANTY AND PRICE. WE PURCHASED THE LTX M/S IN JUNE 2013 FOR OUR JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LAREDO BECAUSE MICHELIN TIRES ARE THE BEST AND WE WILL CONTINUE TO KEEP THIS NAME IN OUR FAMILY.
