90,000 miles plus

The Lattitude Touring tires came on our Mercedes ML SUV. We have driven 90,00 miles on the original set of tires. The majority of those miles have been interstate miles. These tires have given us good fuel mileage and a quiet, safe ride. This has been very important to me, since my husband and son drive the SUV pulling a trailer across the state going to racing events.

Poor Wear

While I will agree that it handles nice, we are already needing to replace them after only 21K miles on our Escape. It's driven in normal circumstances in dry and wet conditions (no snow) but the tread has not held up to even half what the mileage is supposed to be. I am very dissatisfied. It's not just the wear issue, the last 3-4K miles, these tires have been obnoxiously loud, so much road noise from them that we didn't have when they were new. Additionally, when I preview my review it says I would recommend this tire. Believe me, I clicked NO, not yes. I would not recommend this tire.

Good Traction,Poor Noise Level

These 18 inch Michelin Latitude Tour HP tires came OEM on my 2017 Ford Escape, It quickly become apparent that on anything except completely smooth pavement they generate fairly high levels of road noise. I only have 10,000 km on them and the wear and traction both seem good to date, however due to the noise levels I am looking for a quieter set of tires to put on. I was fairly surprised at having to do this as I've always been a big fan of Michelin partly for the smooth and quiet ride they usually provide, however I can not recommend this particular tire by any means.

Low treadlife

As with many of the other reviewers here, I'm having to replace the Michelin Latitude Touring HP's I bought in 2010 due to poor treadlife. I had them put on my '07 Nissan Murano when it had roughly 42K miles on it, now at 79.5K miles, I'm already having to replace them. For 55K miles tires I hoped to get closer to that estimate before I had to replace them, espcially for the price I paid, and am having to pay again, today, when they're replaced. Also, as others here have said they do, I have my tires rotated every 5K miles and I make sure that the pressure in them stays where it should be, 33 PSI. They have a smooth, comfortable ride though. I just wish they were a higher quality, longer lasting tire.

Latitude all around great tire and miles

I have driven these tires through multiple midwest winters and ice laden streets as well as Gerogia/Florida downpours on the interstate. These tires grip regardless of foul weather, always providing a solid in control feel at the steering wheel. Dry weather conditions offer solid traction, cornering and braking power. Mileage is a major plus. Currently have 58000 miles and wear is even and not close to the safety ribs with regular rotations. These tires provide you the confidence and grip under any weather conditions that make driving fun again.

Great tire!

I am not sure how some people are caring for their tires, but with proper rotations & correct air pressure, these tires will last a long time. These were stock tires on our 2010 Toyota Venza and we are closely approaching 80,000 miles and there is still lots of tread remaining. When the time comes for a new set of tires for the Venza, I will be purchasing another set of these tires!

Terrible tread wear

Dealership put these tires on a Buick Enclave when we purchased the vehicle due to a Firestone recall. They handled the weather all year in Minnesota well. We had the tires rotated and balance checked with every oil change at around 6,000 miles by our local tire store. At 30,000 miles the tread wear on three of the four tires was noticeably degraded. Loud humming and then a vibration started getting louder and louder. At 35,000 we had the tire shop look at them and they said there is an uneven wear pattern that had developed. As we go closer to 45k the noise, vibration, road noise and "rubbing" sounds became too much and we replaced the tires. By far the worst experience I have had with a Michelin tire.

Loud noise

These tires came with my Jaguar F-Pace 2019 . I only got 7000 kms on them and they have been so noisy after few kms even on the low speed. On the highway these are worst noisiest tires i have experienced. I use to look upon Michelin as brand Made for safe comfy ride but my experience with these tires changed my viewpoint for Michelin .

Nope... not it.

These tires came on my 2024 Ford Edge SEL AWD. I have just under 4,000 miles on the car and I am getting these removed and replaced with Coopers. At the proper inflation, 35PSI, these tires cannot grip in the rain or light snow. When it is dry, these tires are noisy and do not provide a good steering feel. I am disappointed that I have to replace these tires on a brand new car, but they make the car unsafe in inclement weather.

Simply great tires

Our first set of tires on our new Lexus RX 450 Hybrid were of a different (than Michelin) make and they lasted only 45000 miles. So when we bought our usual Michelin tires with a 60000 miles warranty we were skeptical. Now 65000 miles later on all kinds of roads, we are more than impressed. Never again will we drive on anything that the strong, dependable and long lasting Michelins.
