We didn't have enough snow this winter to know how well these perform as winter tires, but they met one of my biggest requirements - they are quiet! I bought the EV rated version and on my very quiet Mustang Mach E they are as quiet as the original all seasons.

I have purchased Michelin Winter Tires for over a decade now. I have run X-Ice and X-Ice2 in the past on our Ford Focus and currently run Michelin Latitude X-Ice on our large SUV. After reviewing what was available we chose the Michelin X-Ice Snow SUV for our new small SUV. The grip on ice and in deep snow is excellent. Probably the best version of the X-Ice tires we have bought to date.

I had this winter tires since early 2022 put on my 2020 forester however they performed poorly on ice fish tailed twice even when driving slowly in intersections. I have lost confidence with this set. 225/60/R17 on a forester 2025 I bet the oem tires would have performed better on ice. Very disappointed although it is good on deep snow and dry conditions apart from that stay away from this. They marketed this tire that it will perform on ice hence the name x-ice but does not live to its name. Note: tires not even that much worn out.

I had heard about Michelin a lot from my friends, and based on their advice, I bought a new set last month. I feel they are fine for snow but not for icy conditions in Edmonton or Alberta, especially when your car is not an SUV or all-wheel drive. So, I will not recommend this set of tires for small cars.

I purchased the Michelin Ice snow tires last fall and used them through the winter driving Period. I mounted them on my SUV and found the ice tezction simply fantastic for control and breaking. The snow driving was excellent as well. I highly recommend this tire.

I drive 50,000 to 80,000 km a year. I have worn out a few Ford Escapes on these tires and wouldn’t buy anything else. They are smoother and quieter than all season tires and out perform them in all conditions summer and winter. I get 80,000+ kms out of them and they work in snow until the end.

I moved from the city to up North. WOW all the snow we get and ice. It snowed like almost every second day. I’m so happy l bought these tires. When l drive on the road with these tires -WOW. The car with these tires never seemed that there was any trouble with the snow or ice . I felt so safe driving my car with them on. They are worth every penny you paid for them. Especially when your love one takes the car and you know you have great winter tires with good rubber and they are going to be safe driving. Who can ask for any better feeling with themselves then known you or your love ones will be safe driving with Michelin’s Tires. Thanks Michelin for producing such great tires.

We are on our 2nd set of winter tires on both vehicles and will always buy Michelin tires winter and summer. The last set of winters we bought lasted 10 seasons and we’re amazing with lots of grip up to the last kilometre and we drive a lot. Bought new ones last year for the truck and we were the only ones to get out of our street when there was 50 cm of snow.

I have put these snows on all my vehicles and recommended them to friends for over 15 years. I previously used Nokia, but these are better. As the name suggests, they are optimized for ice, slush, and moderate snow. So for the average urban dweller, they are outstanding. I notice little difference between these and my summer tires. Winter doesn't bother them. The only caveat is if you live in the snow belt: there are better choices for deep snow.

This is the 9th set I have purchased since been driving. (30 yrs). The winter tire gets better fuel mileage than the all season my car came equipped with. Tire works better in snow then imagined. To get the tire to slip you must intentionally try so good.
