It wasn't bad it was kind of comfortable for a sheet. I've never experienced having bedbug, but i do have kids who like to spill things on my bed so happy its waterproof. And even if you don't have or never experienced bedbugs its always good to have a sheet just in case

My son has a problem with poking holes through mattress covers but I don't think they can do that at all. This is a very sturdy cover. It's very good for allergies and very comfortable to sleep on.
