This Is A Great Tire

After purchasing a set of tires that were acclaimed to be as good as Michelins, they were not. I have a 2016 Sierra 4X4 that I do some off road and Highway traveling and these tires are great. They were mounted with minimal weights and I fell in love with these right off the bat. Nice soft ride, handle well around curves and stop great on wet roads. They were a little bit cheaper than the Defenders but I think these tires will hold up very well. I tried to save some Money with the Kumho's but a very inferior tire. You get what you pay for. Never had a pair of Michelins before but man. what a great ride.

Best tires for the price!

I've owned two sets of the Michelin Defender LXT M/S - these tires are exactly the same but at a better price! The tread design, ride quality, and performance is top-notch! I highly recommend these tires over any other brand - they offer the best value for what you get.

Great tires for Toyota Sequoia

Went through two sets of other brand tires. Toyota Sequoia’s are picky with tires and these fit the bill. No more shaky steering wheel as Michelin does a great job with a round tire out of the factory. Less weights and easy to balance. Had Bridgestone and Pirelli and neither could be balanced correctly due to the shear mass of the Sequoia. Ride is quiet and handling is great in wet and dry road conditions. Highly recommend for larger Toyota SUVs or trucks.

Wow. Better than expected

I read several reviews from various sites that denounced the Defender LTX M/S tires. Some saying that they were too loud and “roared” on the freeway and had gone down in quality. So I was a little skeptical. But from the store straight to the freeway to stretch the new legs and I could not have been more pleased. Not loud at all, and a smooth ride beyond expectations. I’d highly recommend. I am curious how long the life is, but rated at 79k miles.

Great crossover tire for mild off-road use

Even though the tire comes in the exact size, speed rating, and load index as the original equipment tires on our car, Michelin doesn't think it fits, but I bought it anyway, and after 1000 miles, it's exceeded expectations. I do know this is basically the same tire as Defender LTX M/S, also not recommended for my vehicle, but reading some reviews for that tire, I was concerned about tire noise, ride, and wet traction. So it's a relief that the tires are quiet, and while slightly firmer than a touring tire, they're by no means uncomfortable, and I've only driven it once on a rainy day, but traction seemed fine. Another concern was that each tire is about 3 pounds heavier than the original tires, so I expected some loss of fuel economy, but it's only 1 MPG less than the previous tires, which were worn almost down to the wear bars, so would have less rolling resistance than new tires. Finally, I've taken it on a rough, unimproved road, after breaking it in for 500 miles, and it handled that perfectly as well. Overall, I can't be more pleased, and recommend it to owners of Outbacks with the 225/65r17 tires, who want to occasionally drive off the pavement and not worry about sidewall damage driving on a street tire.

The tires you buy when you finally grow up.

500 miles in, feel better than new. Many late nights researching and reading reviews led me to these. My ego kept looking for "aggressive looking" all terrains for my pickup but fortunately maturity won. Economy is very important for a new father but even more so is reliable safety. Comfort, noise level, performance and durability make these the right tire for mature consumers. My American made F150 deserves to ride on top shelf American tires.

The promise delivered!

Only had these tires a few days but the very reason I bought them was for the rain (Washington) and I got the chance to put them to the test. A few days before I purchased these tires I did not feel safe on the rain and the tires I replaced were not severally worn. The stability and performance doing the rain was amazing never felt safer with the purchase of these Michelin tires.

Great company, disappointing tire

I bought these a few years ago and I’m sorry to say that they have worn much faster than advertised. They are somewhat loud on the highway but that is certainly not a dealbreaker. I’ve always been a big fan of Michelin tires but this set was disappointing. I’m ready for a new set of tires and I only have 46,000 miles on what’s supposed to be a 70,000 mile tire.

Eli, sorry to read the tires need to be replaced. The club where you purchased the tires should be able to assist with the limited treadwear warranty. Basically, you'll get credit based on the mileage you received, and that credit applies to the purchase of replacement tires. Have the dealer contact us with any questions.
