I have had a lot of tires. I drive about 30,000 miles a year and had a lot of SUV. I had BFG AT that where very good. I had Michelin on my suburbans that were outstanding that I can not find any more. I have a trailblazer at I did not think I was going to keep and put cheap tire on it that I hated. But end up keeping it so this time I was looking for a tire that was a good tire at a good price. I when with my gut and get the Pirelli Scorpion AT Plus. I did not wish to put too much money in an old SUV. But I do keep my cars in top shape all the time. Anyway I have newer car but I was going drive up to NJ from FL in my SUV so I could take my dog and need better tires that was good in the rain and more dependable. I had Sam's Club to then on the day before my trip. As soon as I drove at the parking lot I can feel the difference. The Trailblazer responded to the steering wheel right away. It Actually felt kind of weird after having the other the tires. Put it in some hard corners and was very impressed. I then drove 5,500 mile in 10 days I found starting off from lights in the rain I did not have tires spin at all. My fuel mileage dropped little bit as I head read in some reviews. But I have found it's gotten better with miles. The tire has a good stiff side wall making them less subject to damage and better for trailering my boat. It is a real all terrain tire that is not noisy. One of my friends drove my SUV and said. How can a tire that is that aggressive looking be that quiet. I was so impressed with them that I recommended them to my daughter in Colorado. She found them very good in the snow. I drove her jeep out there in the snow and they did a very good job. We were in Denver on city street with a steep hill had to stop on the hill because another car couldn't make it, but we just drove up the hill like on big deal. This is the medium price tire that stands up with some of the best of them. I would recommend them and I have.
