Terrible traction in the snow, just TERRIBLE

2017 Cherokee, started slowly down a snow covered hill, not too steep. Touched the brakes and all heck broke loose. There was no stopping this car. Tires are about 1 year old - lots of tread. Car was in "snow" mode with braking assist on. Looked in the mirrors and all - ALL cars were managing to stop except me. Car stopped on a dime with the original factory tires on it, think I'll go back to them, these are worthless. 54 years of Pennsylvania winter driving experience.

Pleasantly surprised by the new Eagles

After doing a lot of research and reading a lot of reviews I decided to give the Eagle Sport A/S a try. So glad I did. Soft ride, predictable grip, excellent wet traction, and low road noise. I just rotated the tires at 8k miles and they are wearing very well. Great traction for stopping and around tight decreasing radius turns. These tires excel in wet weather! It doesn't matter whether it's a full on tropical storm or just a quick sun shower, the car feels very sure footed and stuck to the road no matter how much water is on the road. I would definitely recommend these tires if you're looking for replacements for All Season tires.

Good tires, happy

I put these on a 2019 Ford F-150. I wanted a good comfortable tire that would handle hauling loads as well. This truck pulls our 10,000 lb travel trailer. It's performed excellent. It provides a nice, quiet, comfortable ride with good handling. And withstands the loads of hauling when it needs to. I can't comment on the tire wear yet, but If I get at least 50,000 miles I'll be happy. very happy with the purchase.

Not bad so far

Have put about 1000 miles on these tires and so far so good. The only complaint at this point is at highway speeds (65+) they are a little noisier than I would like. There's a distinct hum at these speeds that shouldn't be there. Otherwise, handling and ride are what I would expect from a sport tire.

Great tires so far!

My 2018 Silverado High Country came with Goodyear Eagle LS-2 tires. At about 30,000 miles I began to experience a lot of hydroplaning. I decided to replace them before winter got here. I am very please with these Goodyear Eagle All Season Sport tires. They give a nice quiet ride, as well as a smooth ride. I have not experienced any hydroplaning and the traction seems to be next to none. We have not yet had accumulating snow so I cannot rate their winter traction yet

Wouldn't choose any other tire!

I still have my original set of these tires from when I bought my civic brand new almost 4 years ago. I have over 57k miles and my tread depth is surprisingly at 7/32". I've never had any issues with road noise, handling around corners, and consistently driving in wet conditions (I live in Florida, it's always raining lol). They are starting to slightly crack on the sides but I think a lot of that has to do with the heat outside. I'll be replacing them soon with this same tire!

Excellent Overall Tire

Using this tire on my Honda S2000. Being an all season, I wasn't sure if it would feel sporty enough for spirited driving. Took a road trip through various conditions and did lots of aggressive driving, the tires held up extremely well and i'm very pleased with their comfort, noise and handling balance. Would recommend for anyone looking for a sporty, and somewhat GT tire without the drawbacks of typical UHP summer tires.

Very happy so far!

After a not-so-good experience buying this way before, this transaction was flawless. Have not driven the car in wet weather or winter yet, but can't imagine they won't perform well. I love the way they look on my 2017 Taurus with 20" wheels - as good or better than the Michelin's they replaced. And, Big 5 Tires in Longview TX got me in 4 days earlier than I had scheduled, had them on in 30 minutes, and out the door! Tires are smooth as glass! SO much better than a previous experience at an actual Goodyear corporate facility here.

Confidence in All Driving

Terrific all-purpose tires for mid-Atlantic conditions -- hot and humid summer followed by drier and cooler fall, followed by mix of rain-ice-snow-sun in the winter, leading into a wet spring. Driving in all conditions on a variety of road surfaces at differing speeds is a more confident experience with the GY Eagle Sport All Season than on the tires that were on my vehicle at purchase. I am very pleased with the purchase. I need to give a shout-out to the Fairfax, Virgina store -- i have trusted them with tires for years.

Disappointed

I bought a new 2022 Honda Civic Touring and these were the factory tires. Last week I had two flats with sidewall failure on the inside on both. The tires had about 10k miles on them. I took the car to the dealer and they told me that I was out of luck because it was the sidewall. The dealer wanted to sell me a new set of the same tires. I refused and took in my winter tires to be mounted. Side by side, the snow tires' sidewalls were substantially thicker than the Goodyears'. The car has 22k miles on. More miles on the snows than the Goodyears. Same road, same routine. Before you buy, compare the sidewalls. You'll likely make a logical choice other than the Goodyears. This is the first negative review I have posted.
