The reliability of my Michelin LTX truck tires for my Ford 150 4x4 is nothing short of amazing. They are exposed daily to a very wide vareity of road conditions and hazards and never fail. The ride is remarkably smooth. A similar set of LTX on my wife's Chevy SUV has nearly 90,000 miles with a stunning amount of tread remaining and not one problem.

Have you had tires that did not last? Have you paid for tires that did not perform? Have you heard from a salesperson that told you how great a tire was and find out that the quality was below standard. Forturnate I experiance all of these early in life and fortuantely I bought my first Michelin tire also early in my life. I have bought only Michelin tires since I was 21 and I am 64 now. With the proper care (inflation, rotation, etc.) these tires on the average have lasted longer than the advertised rating and their tread life has been execeptional. Quality control is also outstanding as I have never had to return a tire for any type of blemish or related problem which is very important from a safety point of view. I am a long time owner of these tires as well as all of my familty who continue to rack up the miles and who contiue to experice the same satifaction and trust with the Michelin brand.

I REMEMBER AS A TEENAGER, MICHELIN WAS THE ONLY TIRE MY PARENTS WOULD PURCHASE FOR THEIR VEHICLES. THEN WHEN I GOT MARRIED, "MICHELIN TIRES" STAYED IN THE FAMILY. MY HUSBAND AND I OWN FIVE VEHICLES, MERCEDES, CORVETTE, TWO DODGE RAMS AND JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LAREDO. ALL VECHILES HAVE MICHELIN TIRES. THE MICHELIN PRODUCTS PROVIDES THE BEST MILEAGE, PERFORMANCE, WARRANTY AND PRICE. WE PURCHASED THE LTX M/S IN JUNE 2013 FOR OUR JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LAREDO BECAUSE MICHELIN TIRES ARE THE BEST AND WE WILL CONTINUE TO KEEP THIS NAME IN OUR FAMILY.

I have always liked the performance of my Michelin tires but the tramlining on this set is a definite negative. I truly would not have purchase them had I known that it would be this noticeable. I needed new tires for my Jeep Grand Cherokee and I put on about 35K miles a year so I didn't hesitate getting these as I have never had this problem with other Michelin's on my cars. Very irritating considering half of my daily commute is on grooved pavement.

Purchased a 5 year old sport trac with 69000 miles. It had new Michelin LTX M/S tires. At 175000 miles and 106000 miles on the tires, I am wondering if they are ever going to wear out? Light hauling, highway miles,some trailering. Great all season tire .Best I have ever owned. Thank You Michelin Man

I've had these tires on my 2015 F250 since July , thought maybe they would get better but no hope. I've bought Michelins for the last 23 yrs , a new set about every 14-15 months. These Defenders are worse tires ever , VERY bad ride , I always bought Michelin for the soft ride and road handling. But never another set of Defenders. If the didn't cost so much I would change them out now.

I have had 2 sets of LTX M/S tires on 2 different vehicles and have loved them. Each time I switched from the tire that came on the vehicles to the LTX I experienced an immediate improvement in the ride comfort. I also have had excellent results with wear and performance. In fact I specifically put these on my current vehicle because of my prior experience and they did not let me down despite being a different size tire. They were just as good as before if not better. They have been on my current vehicle for over 50000 miles and are still producing outstanding results. I will continue to use these tires or perhaps the M/S2's in the future.

Purchased for 2007 F150 4x4 for daily use, not commercial. Almost instantly noticed the difference in noise reduction and improved traction both wet & dry. Had heavy rains recently and felt very secure compared to previous tires. Those had approximately 25K miles but just didn't handle the way I wanted and I felt a bit unsafe. I'm hoping these tires handle our Michigan winters. While have only driven these for a couple weeks, I'm extremely pleased with the choice. This may be the 2nd time or 3rd time I have every written a review on any product, especially with such a positive impression. Oh, age 63 and usual a grumpy old man's point of view.

First accumulating snow in Michigan 2013. From the trip in, to the trip home with new tires; these new LTX m/s made a world of a difference. The sure grip was very noticeable. No where near the slip and slide at stopping or acceleration. Good choice of tires on my Explorer.

In my honest opinion, there is NO better tire for SUVs operating in northern climates than the Michelin LTX M/S. They provide a quiet, comfortable ride, with great handling and uncompromised wet traction. They are the only tires that I have found that will climb my steep driveway, when it's covered in packed snow. They even helped my RWD van get up the drive!
