I had hoped to keep my truck until I wore the tires out. My engine went first. I advised my son to try them. He did. Now he can't wear them out, and he needs to trade his SUV. They don't have the size for my new truck, so I intend to go to the LTX-MS2. They aren'yt cheap, but I don't want any other. I put Michelin on all my vehicles and haven't had a problem for years. I am alwaysn looking for a deal, so....

Replaced the OEM tires with the LTX M/S on our Chevy 2500 truck. The ride and noise was improved tremendously. We only got about 30,000 miles from the OEM tires and the LTX gave use almost 60,000 miles. I am now on the second set of LTX's on the truck. Very good traction in rain and snow.

These tires replaced the original set of Michelins which had been on my truck for six years. Did not wear the originals out, they simply dry rotted. The new set rides extremely well, brakes well and performs in all types of weather. Of course being in Alabama have not experienced snow or ice. Would definitely purchase another set and do recommend to friends.

I love this tire, I am on my third set of the LTX's. I have 378K miles on my 1998 Blazer and the last set I got over 150K miles on. These are the best long mileage tires ever. The ride and handling are outstanding. I will always use Michelin on my vehicles.

Greeting, we purchase an 1998 F150 (new) it had its dealer tires, lasted about 50K mi. We decided.to go with Micheline tires, and never look back, the truck has 240k mi. and I'm about to get another set of them in the next 6 mo. There is our expedition (2003) it was used when we got it, with about 10K mi. Same there, Michelin's all around, it has 199k mi.

I owned Defenders previously, until 2018 when I replaced them with these current (2011 Highlander SUV). And now at speeds over 40 mph the oscillating sound is so loud and driving me nuts. I read a review when I bought these suggesting they are loud and now I believe it. Don't buy these -I don't know why Michelin can't design a quieter tire for SUVs. They have always been my go-to brand for my sedans.

I purchased these tires for my FWD Honda Element in 2006. They have lasted me about 120,000 miles and 8 years. There are sometimes it was poor in snow, but I always made it through. This is a good long lasting tire. Since they longer make it in my size I now have the Latitude Tour, and will use winter tires in the winter.

The tires I have on my GMC 2500 Suburban are LTX265/75R16.There is only one brand at the top... Michelin! They have over 40,000 miles and have over the original tread remaining. It seems that they are the only manufacturer of tires capable of making a tire suitable for the weight and payload of any vehicle without compromising performance and wear. I have experienced this over the past 35 years time and time again. Kudos to the engineers at Michelin.

Just replaced Yokohama tires with 64,000 on tires, dealers mentioned that they no longer carry them so he suggested the Michelins Defender LTX MS for my suburban. Now let's see how they perform on the highway, pulling cars to shows in this desert climate. Looks nice brings back that OEM look to the unit. Now had a fair experience with prior warranty on tread life, let's see how this round goes..

Sometimes it takes awhile to realize there are products that paying alittle extra for up front return far greater value AND performance over the long term. Michelin LTX M/S - LTX M/S2 tires examplify that truth. After several sets of supposedly "quality" 6-ply tires for our Suburban used to pull our Airstream trailer and having a tread separate on the last set while towing at 55 mph on a very not day in northern California, we installed Michelin LTX M/S tires and have nothing but good things to say. First the Michelin tires DO NOT LOSS AIR PRESSURE between our trips like the previous "quality" tires did. Second the Michelin tires are more round AND required minimum wheel weights to balance. Thus the ride quality is far superior to the previous "quality" tires. Third even running the same 75 or 80 psi as done previousily with the other "quality" tires in the rears on the Suburban, the stability of the Michelin's is far superior. Bottom line, I have recommended Michelin to all that will listen in our Airstream group and many are making the switch as I did. FYI we recently purchased an Yukon XL to replace the aged Suburban with over 200,000 miles and had the new LTX M/S2's installed.
