To be honest with you, I must admit that I've only used these clams for the chowder I make. But having made clam chowder for probably 40 years, you're not going to find any better canned clams anywhere. My friends and family say I make the best chowder around! And I'm sure they would be good in any seafood recipe.

Living in Maine, I usually prefer fresh clams for my chowder, but these are almost as good and much more convenient. These are not those chopped up clams that don't even resemble a real clam in any form. These are actual clams, not invisible bits of something clam related. I love these clams and use them to make a huge pot of chowder in the slow cooker. You won't be disappointed in these if you like clams.

I have probably been buying these for more than 20 years...perfect to make clam chowder! They have gone up quite a bit, but are still cheaper than buying the small cans in the grocery store.

I bought two cans of these Chopped Clams at the Littleton Store in about October or November of 2012. I combined one Cambell's Clam Chowder with 1 can Chopped Clams. It was a hit for my dinner! Please stock this item. Clam Chowder is on most menues of large and small resturants. It is a key item, you have it and your stores do not stock it !!!!!

Great flavor and great way to use clams for clam chowder, clam linguine and other clam recipes.

Used to make linguine with clams. Little sandy and couple of hard pieces (maybe shells).

Very good product! Great for large families and big batches of chowder or dips for a big crowd.

Remember the fiasco when that dish soap company came out with a lemon scented version and people were drinking it and dying? Well congratulations, this has STPP (sodium Tripoli phosphate). It's a soap and a pesticide and it's being deliberately added to this food labeled as something to preserve moisture. Real purpose, to bloat the fish to increase profit.
