Very important to clean surfaces with alcohol as directed, and to be patient with the wait time to allow the "sticky" to do its thing before hanging the picture or frame. As a school teacher I have several posters and signs to hang in the classroom. This product makes it very simple to remove at the end of the school year and rehang the next school year without damaging the walls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our children gave us a large NYC Decorative Plate. We wanted to display but it was too large to sit on a shelf. We used Command Strips to hang it on the wall. Using 4 strips (top;bottom/sides) we were able to place it on our dining room wall. It has been hanging there for many months and is completely secured. Hanging a plate can be difficult but with these strips it was easy & safe to do. No damage to the plate or wall. Made me a convert of these strips. I've since used them to hang a clock and several photo frames. I also started using the small hooks to hang indoor Christmas lights - second year for using those. Work great!!

I Love my Command Picture Hangers, because I am one of those who worry about using nails, and between messing up my walls or just hitting an electrical cable I feel SO much better using these! They are wonderful, they hold my pictures sturdy and when I want to move them you just pull the tab and off they come. I wish I would have invented this, my house would have lot less nail holes. Thanks Command!!!

The advertising is really accurate about rehanging a picture because I "never get it right" the first time. Simply follow the details & ZIP off the strips and I got the jobs done so much easier & I had to decorate my Little People's Preschool every month with different seasonal items. What a joy with COMMAND STRIPS! Believe me--they work!!

I rent a home and in my lease I am not allowed to put nails in the walls. I have 3 children and it's so hard to NOT be able to display my pictures and my art on the walls. Then I ran across the Command Strips for pictures and at first I wasn't sure if it would work. Six months later and my pictures are still hanging stong on the walls and I love it when people come in and ask how I got them to stay on the walls without using nails and my landlord is loving it as well!! Thanks for making such an awesome product!!

If I decide I don't like the decorative items some day, I can remove them without damaging my cabinets!

Going straight to the point the "picture hanging strips" are great, they actually stay there and never slip, theyre pretty strong and wont leave any mark on your wall which makes it even better!
