I used the command picture hanging kit after careful research on the internet. We live in a home that has been remodeled and updated but it still has plaster and lath walls. I was overjoyed to see how well the product worked! Not only did it hold the pictures securly but I even pulled a couple of them off the wall at one week intervaks for a month, there was absolutley no damage to the wall or paint! I pass the information on to friends and family and even gave them a couple to try. It was the same for all of them. One of them even used it on wallpaper and still no damage! This is anawesome product and I have found out that teachers love these as gift for thier cassroom! Thank you Donna

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our children gave us a large NYC Decorative Plate. We wanted to display but it was too large to sit on a shelf. We used Command Strips to hang it on the wall. Using 4 strips (top;bottom/sides) we were able to place it on our dining room wall. It has been hanging there for many months and is completely secured. Hanging a plate can be difficult but with these strips it was easy & safe to do. No damage to the plate or wall. Made me a convert of these strips. I've since used them to hang a clock and several photo frames. I also started using the small hooks to hang indoor Christmas lights - second year for using those. Work great!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I buy these in bulk when I can. I use them for pictures to small floating shelves Every picture in my house is hung with command strips. I have had a very few flawed strips. Majority have lived up to expectations.

Been using for years without issue until recently. Two pictures now have fallen off the wall in 4 months. This time caused damage to the baseboard. Don't know if I got a bad batch or what but not happy about it! It won't allow me to add the pic, but velcro sticks but sticky side came off of the frame. And yes, I did make sure the frame was clean at install.

We have them to hold frames of various sizes and styles, and I recently used a set to hang up my daughter's heavy vinyl birthday banner. We'd had trouble getting it to stay flat in past years, but these strips worked like a charm! I like that they don't damage the wall or the item, and that if you place it crooked, you can reposition the velcro. My favorite 3M product!!!

We live in an old home with plaster walls. I love the look, but it's nearly impossible to hang pictures without sending cracks spider-webbing out from the hanging site. The command strips are perfect for this type of surface! No more holes and makeshift patches in our walls. Thanks, Command!

we recently had to remove all the items we had used on our old rv and put them in our new one. taking everything down was a no fuss or mess ,no tearing or messing up my walls and the new command applied to the hangers was a breeze, will not use any thing else! love these products ! i even use them to hold down small items on our counters in our rv, i just cut to size and apply. would be lost with out this product!

Recently I was offered space in a beautiful dining area at an adult living center, called River Ridge, to hang some of my photographic work. As a professional photographer, with a modest reputation in the region, I was thrilled over the opportunity to do so. However, my dilemma came when my hosts informed me of the 'no nail' policy (I don't blame them) in their beautiful wall paper. I was aware of 'Command picture hanging strips, but on wall paper? I had to try. With only six weeks left to print, frame, and hang a goal of sixty exhibition quality prints, the race was on. First, I tested an 8 x 10 frame, with just two Command strips, on wallpaper at home. After two weeks it was still hanging To make a long story longer... we completed hanging sixty prints, ranging in size from 8x10 to 20x30, the afternoon of the planned evening reception for over 200 people. The reception was a huge success and all prints hung for the two weeks run of the exhibit and not one mark of any kind left on the wall. I am sold on Command Picture Hanging Strips. There are no more holes in my studio and home, and I supply them, as an option to nails to all my customers.

When I first got these strips I thought they were a pretty good idea. I put my stuff up on the wall and everything looked real nice, it's been up for a couple months now. I just moved into a new house anyway I was sitting at my dining room table the other day and all of a sudden there was a crash and I looked up and my HANGIING HAD FELL OFF THE WALL! Don't know if the heat melted the glue or what but the strips came right off the wall and were no longer able to adhere to the wall at all. So now I am back to square one. Juat glad it didn't fall on one of my cats!
