[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Generac GP 3600 is a small wonder. The size is perfect for portability to carry with us on our camping trip. Fuel consumption is plus point, and being able to store perfectly when not in use is another advantage. Additionally i can use it for my some project around my house and as backup in case of emergency.

I'm very impressed with this generator. After going without power last year for 5 days after hurricane Irma, I decided we needed a generator. After looking for months as to which one I wanted, I decided on the GP6500. It has the power I need in an emergency situation and is very quite compared to others I have experience using. Fired right up on the first pull and my girlfriend can start it also should I be out of town and the power goes out for an extended time period. Good value for the price and I like the dependability and Generac reputation.

In the immediate aftermath of the 2020 Midwest Derecho, we were in desperate need of power. Purchased a Generac at Home Depot and had power on first attempt to start! In addition, we were able to run an extension cord to our neighbor to save food in their freezer.

I purchased this unit because I have lost power at my house a few times and got tired of having no electricity. I did months of research and comparisons between Generac and other various brands. I spend countless hours watching Youtube videos on generators (especially Generac) and finally came to the conclusion that the GP7500e was the perfect fit for me. What I like is that I can power up to 10 different breakers in my house while this unit is running. Frig,boiler,all lights, microwave,tv,internet router and computers. So, I have options for when the street is without power. This product is made here in America and I know they're made with readily available parts so I don't have any worries that this unit will last me years and years. I love this thing more than I can say. Can't wait for the next blackout. Thank You Generac for making such a great product and one that is affordable as well.

The GP8000E is a very capable machine. It can run our whole house and never falter. The electric start was a requirement so my wife could crank it up. There is the first weak spot. The machine is just 4 months old and has 3.2 hours on it and the start battery has cracked and is leaking. Yes, I recommend the unit, but I recommend that you plan to replace the starting battery very early. The 20amp cord that comes with some is of marginal utility, I suggest that you look a 14-30 cord if you chose to do much at all.

The price was within or close to the many competitive brands I reviewed and researched out. I wanted an electric start so my wife could start it if needed in my absence. The main initial wattage output was very important to start the electrical appliances in my home that I feel is needed. Primarily, the well pump, two refrigerators, several room lights, TV, security system and possibly the AC/heat system if really needed. I do not have it set up yet but will soon be adding a manual transfer switch to connect this unit to. Looking forward to providing me the power I need during the next hurricane. IRMA was cruel to us. Our generator was purchased in the event of a power outage. We have had our house wired to accept gen power by an electrician. Our electrician was SO impressed with our generator. He even mentioned it was robust enough to power our whole 2400 sq.ft. house, except for the AC. During our testing, the machine started up within 1 second, made less noise than we would have thought for its size and power. The controls are easy to use and understand (I am a novice at this) and maneuvering this beast was actually pleasant. Sturdy contruction and high quality gives you an excellent feeling that this can handle high demands. During our testing, it performed perfectly and did power the entire house with ease (45% total load with EVERY light, fan, appliance turned on). If I could give it 6stars, I would.

Ran this generator for almost 5 months everyday after Hurricanes Irma and Maria. Was the only thing that kept the family from going insane. Absolutely trustworthy and it never skipped a beat. The electric switch stopped working but with the manual start we never went a day without power. Heard a lot of people complain about their generators but we never had a problem.

After a tornado last November left us without power for 3-1/2 days, I decided to take the leap and install a transfer switch and purchase a portable emergency generator. I researched and looked at a lot of brands but always found myself coming back to Generac. I decided on the 7500 E and purchased it at a local big box store and took it home. Packaging was excellent and everything was in pristine condition out of the box. I inspected the frame and it is a very rugged design which I believe will give many good years of trouble free service. 30 minutes later I had it assembled, oil & gas added, and it started immediately when I pushed the start button. It is smooth running, quieter than I though it would be for its size, and easier to move around than I thought it would be for its weight, thanks to the sturdy fold down handle and wheels. I ran some garage loads on it to break it in and the voltage held steady at 119.8 volts regardless of load. I haven't used it in an emergency situation yet, but it performed exactly as advertised right out of the box. I am 100 % glad I bought this generator and I am very satisfied with my choice so far. I would recommend this generator to anyone who is looking for ease of assembly and more than enough power to keep them comfortable in any outage. Hopefully we won't have another tornado any time soon, but with this machine I am confident that we will be ready for whatever nature throws at us.

This generator fit our needs perfectly. We have a small farm and needed a sizeable unit to power things when power is out with affordability. This unit is large but easy for my wife to move around. It is very easy to operate and quality is excellent.
