Starts on the first pull when primed properly. It's been very useful and dependable and is very quiet for a large unit. It has helped me out on several occasions. Worth it's weight for sure.

Bought this generator to power my home in case of a power outage and also to use around the house with my power tools. It is perfect in every way! I have never had any problems with it thus far. I am very pleased with this unit!

My current generac xp8000e is 12 years old - and has gotten me through many outages. I am retiring it to backup and replacing with the new model. Strange as it seems the $$ is about the same WOOT!! This model is much quieter than my old one :-)

This generator was easy to set-up and a breeze to operate. It started up on first try. Haven't had to use it yet, but we're wired and ready to use it when the need arises. Generac brands have a great reputation.

I purchased this generator as a backup to keep the heat on, well pump running, and refrigerator running. It was easy to assemble, and runs fairly quietly. I recommend it.

The oil which came with generator was not enough to fill as the manual stated 1.6 quarts. Needed to add almost another qt. Not sure of the weight of oil that was provided with the generator, not on qt container..

Lost power for 7 days ran this unit 24 hours a day with no issues. It provided good stable power and ran 8 hours before a gas refill.. top quality product

Was easy to set up and start post tornado. Very economical on fuel. Ran continuously for 8 hours on single fill up. Ran several neighbor's refrigerators and freezers without difficulty.

Excellent workmanship. Built well. Only suggestion is to write and show in diagrams more detail for the assembly of parts and the steps in operating the unit.

This is the second Generac Generator I've purchased. Living in Central Canada I know that I will be faced with a power outage at some point. These generators will keep my heat, lights and sump pump running. It's worth the peace of mind.
