Super Confidence

Wow! My AMG rips and feels awesome. Took the traction control off and it still sticks. Was quite pleasantly surprise how controled the beast has become with no loss of power. Huge upgrade from the old stock tires which barely lasted 15000 miles; Plus the stocks costs more. Quiet and comfortable for normal daily driving. And fun and confident when unleash your power on the road. It's like driving a totally different car.

Best overall street tire period

I do a lot of auto x, hill climbs, track days, & different events. Some of which require d.o.t. street tires only & I must say there is no better overall street tire than the P.S.S. Wet & dry grip from this tire is outstanding for a tire that lasts as long as these. All of my street legal toys run these tires, drive to the track, hot laps, drive home... My only complaint is that the P.S.4.S. will be making its debut soon & out of the 46 sizes listed I don't see many to fit most of my toys. Come on Michelin you're killing me

Non-Skid for My Ss

My 2017 Chevy Ss Sport Sedan came with 245/40Y/19 in front and 275/35Y/19 rear [another mfr]. I wanted the widest, tallest, safest and stickiest performance sports tire I could fit (without inner fender contact) on my car. My car has yet to be listed by any tire manufacturer. Through trial and error I was able to outfit my Ss with 275/40ZR/19 [105Y] Pilot SS (front) and 295/35ZR/19 [104Y] Pilot SS (rear): No clearance problems whatsoever. (Next time 285/35's-front & 315/30's-rear?). Now my Ss front spoiler clears curbs, no longer slides in the turns and corners like a go cart. Thanks Michelin, for the best tire possible!

Amazing

I had some older Michelin Sport PS2's on my 2005 M3. The Pilot Super Sports are impressive to say the least. I am actually going to miss having less traction and being able to get a litlle crazy easier. I have yet to push these tires to the limit becuase it is so much farther than my older Michelin's. I am very excited to try them out on a track. These tires are an excellent addition to an excellent car.

Want these for your OEM M3/M4? Too bad

Do you want to replace your tires with the tires your car came with? Sorry... not happening. Michelin isnt making these. As of 1/15/2016 there are none anywhere in the USA. Blow a tire? Too bad. Gotta buy a set of some other make. If you are going to offer a product Michelin please make sure you actually make the tire.

Great Tires!!!

I'm very happy with my super sports. I have a 2007 Porsche GT3 that I drive on the street as well as the track and these tires do an exceptional job at both. They are much quieter that the RE-11's that I had on the car before the PSS's. The grip is more consistent on track days even if it's hot out. I've only had them on the car for a few months but I'm expecting them to last much longer than any other tire worth putting on the car so it's a win-win! Buy with confidence!

So much better ride?

A great ride. Soft, quiet, gooey, different than what I had. It's a 08-Z06, so it's hard core. This seems to be what I needed all along since I am an old guy looking for the best ride. I use the car as a grand sport and we travel all over the US. The best is; day two with the new tires and I run over a screw, the screw penetrates the rib on the tire tread and does not get by the casing/inner liner. The windows are down and I hear it! CLICK CLICK CLICK and I stop. I see the screw. Pull it out. AND LIFE IS GOOD!!!!

Best bang for the Buck!

I have the Pilot Super Sports on a 5 series BMW with sport suspension and 18" rims. They are fabulous. The car handles like it is on rails. The great added news is the SS tires are great in the rain as well. I have been running Michelin tires for years on all of my vehicles and even though they may initially cost a little more, they are well worth the money!

Great ride

I put a set on my 2004 Vette and they are great. Quiet, smooth, and handle very well. 1500 miles and the car is a joy to drive. No noise even with top down. Would buy again. Good friend with identical Vette feels same way. Highly recommend them. Be careful of tire pressure. It is important.

Great performance tires

The Pilot Super Sports are great tires. The handling and breaking with them has been great. I actually felt an improvement with my car going to them over the stock PS2s that came on it. They're also quieter which is nice. I'd rather listen to my engine note than the road. :) My only complaint on them is wear. I'm burning through my rear tires fairly quickly with normal use, no track use. I'm on my 3rd set of rears now with the first 2 sets only getting about 9k miles each. The front tires are still going strong though with about 18k on them. When I just replaced the rears they still had 60% tread. Don't let that scare you off though. They're well worth it if you have a high performance car. The performance, ride, and road noise with them is worth the possible shorter life on the rears and you can probably get better life by rotating. I run staggered, so I can't rotate. I highly recommend them.
