Putting on these tires on my 1996 4Runner, one of the best decisions i made, i love the ride and i feel very safe riding on these tires.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got these Michelin Defender LTX M/s2 tires to go our family's 2019 Toyota Sequoia. We were running on a different brand of tires but will have to admit that these tires give us quite a comfortable ride! They don't look quite as rugged as ones we've had but if these will last as long as they're rated for them I'll be more than happy.

What a wonderful experience it is to be a Michelin customer, i highly recommend this brand of tires and the handling of my Defender LTS MS2 is truly unsurpassed, they make you feel that you are driving a new SUV. Absolutly no noise while driving a smooth ride. I am a happy customer.

Tires are very quiet and smooth running. Any increase or decrease in mileage is yet to be determined. I bought these for extra load rating for towing a 5th wheel trailer. I am at this time experiencing death wobble and I am hoping the tires are not a contributing factor as I only have 19,000 miles on the truck.

The good: quite, lateral motion good for turning, generally a responsive tire The bad: wonders while driving on concrete that is grooved in parallel direction of travel. Never had tire do this. Can’t imagine this passed any serious road test. Snow traction is terrible. In less than 2” of snow my truck was sliding through turns at 5 mph and got loose going over a bridge. Too bad the first snow came 90 days from purchase or these tires would go back. Looking for different tires now

Not an upgrade for the defender ltx ms. I am very disappointed and feel I wasted money. The outer lugs are closed now which changes their capabilities. The compound doesnt hold as well in water and snow/ice. Maybe you will get more miles and on dry pavement they are decent but that isn't what these tires are supposed to be...and at such a price. I won't purchase these again and will find another brand for next tires. I bought online because I had to finance and trusted michelin to not mess up a great tire...these should have a different name...they do not act like ltx ms....not at all. Very disappointed.

I have owned my Tahoe since 2007. When the original Tires needed replaced, I switched to the defender LTX M/S 275/55/20 tires. After switching to the Michelin, tires, I have never used a different brand or style since replacing the original tires.I have over 350,000 miles on this vehicle. I find the ride, handling, performance and comfort to be unmatched!. I have switched all of my vehicles to the Michelin brand tires. They handled the Florida weather with ease. And I find a perform just as well when I travel north. I also purchased a lifetime alignment program and have the tires rotated every 5000 miles. Combining proper maintenance with superior quality makes the 80,000 mile life expectancy of the tires A conservative estimate.
