[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to get this mattress as I wanted a mattress that provides firm support. I am a side and back sleeper, so I like my mattress to be firm enough to support me, but it does not need to be rock hard where it hurts to lay on my side. I require firm support for when I do turn on my back as well. I also sit up in my bed a lot, which requires firm support-- so I don't like beds that are too soft and make me feel like I'm sinking in when sitting up in bed. When I first got the bed, I was pleased that it has a plush feeling top, so it didn't hurt to lay on my side. It felt somewhat firm, where I am not sinking in, but I was a bit worried about the longevity, as it was not as firm as I was expecting for a new mattress. A couple months later, the bed has continued to soften and I feel that it is now too soft and I kind of feel like I am sinking a bit when I sit up in bed or climbing in and out of bed. I understand beds will eventually soften a bit with time, but I question the durability of this bed given that it has only been a couple of months. Granted, this bed was likely too soft for me from the beginning, if I felt it already was slightly too soft when I first got it. This may be good for people who want a slightly firm mattress with medium support, but I prefer a more supportive and firm mattress with medium to strong support. Unfortunately, I'll be in the market for a firmer bed soon.

Not too firm but not too soft, and supportive in all the right places. My husband and I both have back problems and this mattress has helped us so much with that. I no longer wake up as stiff and achy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually I go for a soft mattress but as I've gotten older I like a firm mattress better to help with my back pain. I settled on this one and am I glad I made that choice, I'm not longer tossing and turning during the night but the support is amazing with the springs and coils, the cooling effect is also a wonderful factor of it, especially as I have MS and just don't do well with heat so I'm glad this helps keep me cool. I wish I had found this mattress a lot sooner than I did, I'm in love with it!
