First let me say that I look online ALWAYS at ALL jewelery sites and such. Paperclip anything is the "in" right now so prices compared to gold weight isnt a factor at the moment. Its about fad and demand, and this bracelet, the craftsmanship, extreme comfortability and most importantly price is nothing but a WIN here. Its light, and thats ok because you are still getting alot of gold for the price considering. Most everywhere else Ive seen go for 2x the price if not more. Love my bracelet and love the width because Im still able to wear and layer with other bracelets!

I am a baby boomer, usually like more substantial pieces of jewelry; but this one drew me in. I have an average size wrist, usually need a 7 3/4" length, so I went for the 8 inch. Good thing I did, because when I measured it end to end, it was not 8 inches. It was 7 3/4" long. I was surprised how difficult it was to put on and clasp it without help. So my advice would be, don't think 8 inches is too big. It's probably the size you need. Unless you have a very small wrist or it is for a young girl, I would suggest you get the 8 inch. And some of you who think an 8 inch is what you normally take, this may be too small. Your best bet is to try it on person before purchasing. Otherwise, it is very delicate piece which makes it perfect for a young lady. It is high polished, made in Italy, and the lobster claw clasp seems secure.
