I've driven about 30,000 miles on these tires, and while tread life and traction are excellent, the noise is absolutely unbearable. From day one, the road noise has been loud, droning, and constant — it doesn't matter if I'm on a smooth highway, backroad, or city street. The sound fills the cabin and never stops. They've worn evenly and still have tons of tread left, but I honestly can't take it anymore. Nobody wants to ride with me and it gives my daughter instant headaches. For a tire that's marketed as quiet, this has been the complete opposite experience.

Bought my first set of LTX M/S Defenders in 2020. Still had lots of tread at 50K miles 5 years later. They started to get a little louder, but still performed well in dry and wet conditions. All four showed ever so small signs of cracking in the edge touching the rims. Hopefully these LTX M/S2 do as well. Very happy with Michelin tire performance on my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland.

Got a set on Tahoe with 54000 miles and they still look and perform like the day we bought them. Further more they still got 8-9/32 tread.Michelin in my book are the only tires out there. In the long run they as my uncle says cheapest tire too. They will outlast 2-3 sets of the other name brands.

I bought them 5 months ago and put 6663 miles on them so far. They are quiet and sturdy giving me complete confidence that they will provide more miles than what they are rated for (70,000). I put them on a 2017 Lexus GX460. They destroyed my MPG ~30%. I still love them!

Big improvement over original factory tires. They seem to last longer too in her experience. I'm still new so time will tell for my set. I just had these tires and they have excellent ride quality. I switched from Bridgestone Dueler HL tires which only lasted about 32k miles, but they rode very well. With the heft and XL rating of the Michelin tires I was worried that they would ride harder, but those fears were quickly proven wrong. Also, my first time driving on these tires was in the rain and the tires were excellent and confidence inspiring. I love that these also come with an extra 2/32 of tread compared to the standard LTX tire. I purchased the 275/55/r20 113T size tire.
