Out of round tires

I’ve had these ties on my truck for 7000 miles. Had to replace one that was out of round. Truck still rides worse than ever my tire shop says Michelins doesn’t honor warranty claims so I’m SOL. I cannot stress enough to avoid Michelins tires. This is the 3rd set of Michelins I’ve had in past few years and absolutely the last. First 2 sets lasted under 30,000 miles

Amazing tires !!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been so pleased with these tires. I have been using them for several weeks now and they’re pretty amazing. I have always bought budget tires in the past. I’m really glad I got some Michelin this time I ended up putting them on my Toyota grand Highlander look great they ride very well. I was worried at first they might be a little bit rough but they absolutely are not.! It’s a pretty quiet ride. It’s not like giving a bunch of road noise or anything like that but it’s also not silent. I mean they are larger tires this just feels so buttery smooth against the road. I don’t feel the bumps and stuff and the other day, we definitely had a good rainstorm, and none of my tires slid out even on the quick breaking on wet conditions I had no sliding they have performed very well, I highly recommend these and I think it is worth the extra cost to get the platinum . These are very big tires. They usually would go on a very large SUV or truck. I was actually worried they wouldn’t fit, but turns out it worked out just fine and I was so excited that I was able to use them on my Toyota instead of the truck, they look really good. If you’re on the fence about these just go for it it’s worth the cost. I know they’re a little bit pricey but as long as that, I know that these are going to last hands-down worth it I mean, you really can’t get better than Michelin right ! These definitely will ask you a very long time unlike those 30,000 mile tires I believe these are 60, 000. Go get you some !

Happy with my purchase

Just purchased today after my original Goodyear tires lasted 68,000 miles I'm excited to see how these perform. So far very well. Very smooth and quiet with heavy rain on the ride home from the tire store, I thought that they performed really well compared to the Goodyear trail runners on wet roads. I'll will keep my review updated if anything changes.

Picks up rocks

Tires seem fine but they pick up rocks and sling them against the truck really bad. Ended up utilizing the 60 day exchange program to get a different brand. Tires have large grooves that seemed perfect to pick up driveway gravel. Did not have this issue with previous versions of the LTX/MS tires.

Excellent Tires

Bought these tires last month for my 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD that has a 3" front 2" rear lift. I explored all types and brands of tires, but based on past experience, I have never been disappointed with Michelin tires. Went with the 275/65/20's to replace my factory GY 265/60/20's. Tires fit great, no rubbing. Michelin's track straight and way better ride! 3,000 mile round trip, towing a cargo trailer from Utah to Tennessee. Highway, speeds, hot weather, and a few rain and thunderstorms, no issues. Ride home, minus the trailer, about 1- 1.5 mpg better than the GY's, even with the larger tire size. We'll see how they do in the fall on dirt/fire roads, and this winter.

Overland, rough terrain, steep grade, 4WD the entire time.

To date: 3 months and about 8000 miles on the tires. I took these tires off road to Big Bend State Park. It was 100% 4WD going to and from two different camp sites and back. maybe 40 miles total. Running with four other vehicles, all four running other name brand A/T tires. I'm the only one running the Platinum

Great tire and good looking !

Bought these a year ago for my 2001 F-250 Super Duty 4X4 lifted 4 inches, to replace my all terrain. I was skeptical and currious about these new threads... What a difference on the road ! These tires stabilized my truck , no more swerving from the old all terrain, no more rumble , no more road noise and comfortable ride. I have been looking for a tire that has style, and Michelin nailed it with this one !! Love these Defender Platinum. Want to replace your noisy rought handling all terrain, with a quiet good looking great handling tire ? This is the one you need !!

Great on Cybertruck!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was provided these tires by Michelin to try on my 2024 Tesla Cybertruck AWD. I can say that after >5,000 miles I am very pleased. Both my wife and I feel that they are quieter and smoother than the OEM tires. TeslaFi.com statistics are showing that the efficiency is somewhat better than the OEM tires but perhaps less than the 'street' tires Telsa is supposedly coming out with later. Given that Teslas notoriously eat tires because of their weight and torque an owners propensity to 'launch' them, I am thrilled with the 70k mile warranty. When new, the tread depth was 14/32. After >5k miles, they appear to be about 12.5/32. I'm not sure if that is good or bad. I will leave that to the real tire guys.

Might be the best Defender to date

My 2024 Silverado 3500HD came with Goodyears.......I should have taken them off at the Dealer and had a set of Defender LTX Platinums put on from day one. I like a few of you scratched my head at this new tread design, but I have never been let down by Michelin Tires. I had the last tire issue with the factory Goodyears and pulled all of them and had four Defender LTX Platinums put on. Here is after about 3000 miles of driving on them. Much quieter, better mileage are the first things I noticed. My fears of how the tire would handle rain came very abruptly one afternoon. I was on the freeway doing 70mph and a cloud burst hit the freeway. The tires locked me to the road, I felt no disconnect to the road which gave me time to slow down. I use these for towing our Airstream and like the handling of the sidewalls. The tire gives you support but also gives you a comfortable ride. This might be the best Defender I have ever purchased.

Amazing Tires!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These tires are truly awesome! The tires look great with the new tread pattern. And my Jeep Wrangler has been riding extra smooth and quiet thanks to the full ring velour sidewall. Perfect tires for all that living in Louisiana brings!
