My 2024 Silverado 3500HD came with Goodyears.......I should have taken them off at the Dealer and had a set of Defender LTX Platinums put on from day one. I like a few of you scratched my head at this new tread design, but I have never been let down by Michelin Tires. I had the last tire issue with the factory Goodyears and pulled all of them and had four Defender LTX Platinums put on. Here is after about 3000 miles of driving on them. Much quieter, better mileage are the first things I noticed. My fears of how the tire would handle rain came very abruptly one afternoon. I was on the freeway doing 70mph and a cloud burst hit the freeway. The tires locked me to the road, I felt no disconnect to the road which gave me time to slow down. I use these for towing our Airstream and like the handling of the sidewalls. The tire gives you support but also gives you a comfortable ride. This might be the best Defender I have ever purchased.

I could not give the Michelin Defender LTX Platinum higher praise. I needed to go up a size to get to a higher weight capacity as I pull a 33 foot RV. I was concerned that going to a true LT size tire was going to ruin my ride and get noisy. Boy was I mistaken! I put them on my Ford F150 Platinum Hybrid and the ride has never been better. Even more impressive is how quiet these tires are. When my truck goes into electric driving mode it is dead silent in the cab, not a whisper of road noise. I'm impressed, Bravo Michelin!

I highly recommend paying a bit extra and getting these platinum tires. I will never go back to another kind on my truck!

I bought this tire to replace the Scorpions that came on my Rivian R1S. The Scorpions were off-road tires and, before buying the Michelins, I had no idea just how much the tires were contributing to my lack of enjoyment of the Rivian. It seemed loud, harsh, noisy and generally uncomfortable. The Defender LTX’s have made a night and day difference. They look good, they are smooth, and they make the ride unbelievably less harsh. I LOVE them thus far!!

I take road trips often and having these off road tires did not compromise my comfort. I would highly recommend these to anyone! I will never choose a brand other than Michelin.

I’ve had these tires on for a week, since swapping my winter tires. The handling is outstanding., the smooth feeling on the steering wheel is outstanding, it’s early days yet, but I have faith in Michelin and the Defender platinum tires I bought. Do yourself huge favor and get your Michelin tires ASAP.

I have noticed I don’t drift or slide as much as I did with my previous tires. These tires are very durable and rain and slippery roads. I am completely convinced that these are the best tires fit for any truck.

She couldn’t believe the difference especially when driving in the rain. She said she it felt smoother and safer. The only problem is now she wants to drive the truck instead of her car . I had these installed on my 2020 F250 King Ranch on 11/30/23. They replaced BFG All Terrains KO2's. I've placed 7158 miles on them so far and they've been a fantastic tire! Quiet, comfortable, and good looking. Wet and dry road performance has been fantastic! They do hold gravel a bit more as another person has mentioned but it hasn't been a factor for me.
