We purchase this tent in 2025 at a ridiculously low price of $232.41 including shipping. This is the 2022 model for those interested. Big Agnes will warranty these tents against defects (lifetime) when purchase through an authorized seller. Sam's Club is not an authorized seller. One of the vestibule zippers broke off during our last four-day trek in the Wasatch National Forest. The zippers are the only negative design of this tent; they operate clunky and continuously bind on the tent fabric. Thankfully Big Agnes has DIY videos on replacing tent zippers on their web site. The tent is really big enough for only solo backpacking but is extremely light weight and packs down very small even in its own stuff sack. Another great feature of this tent are the four internal storage pockets; the two above head are huge! We rated this tent four starts due to the irritating zippers operation and expensive footprint which must be purchased separately. But these are minor gripes for the price paid. This tent retails for $600 in 2026 without the footprint!

I got this tent in March. I took it for a backpacking trip in April. The tent is lightweight and super easy to set up. It will be tight for two adults but it fits me and my 9-year old daughter okay. The problem is the stuff sack tore during my 2nd backpacking trip in June. I contacted the customer support of Big Agnes and they said that there was nothing they could do about it. I feel that they should stand behind their product more. overall, it's a great tent and it is my to-go backpacking tent for sure.
