This chair is similar to many others that are available everywhere. It is sturdy, light, and comfortable. It is easy to transport due to the "backpack" straps.

We bought the Member’s Mark beach chairs from Sam’s Club, and I would absolutely not recommend them. They’re advertised to hold up to 300 pounds. I weigh 205 and my husband weighs 220 — well within the limit — and both chairs failed almost immediately. One chair broke within minutes of sitting on it at the beach. The second one made it to the next day before breaking too. We were on a weeklong beach vacation, so this was incredibly frustrating and inconvenient. Very poor quality and not durable at all. We will never buy beach chairs from Sam’s Club again.

Can not figure out how to release the bar on the back of the chair! If anyone can give me the secret to using the bar to lay the chair all the way back, please let me know. Thanks!
