[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the whole idea of this tool to lock the style in, however the tool does not really curl my hair. I tried to put it on the highest heat with the fan and it still only leaves one "sort of" curl at the end. My hair is thick and long (below shoulders). I also don't really recommend this for long hair since the barrel is pretty short and it's hard to wrap all your hair around. I think one of the issues could be the plate (straightener part) isn't big enough to put off heat for the curl to set, which could be why my hair was creasing most of the time instead of a round curl. I even tried to straighten it and it didn't really give my hair a nice clean straight line.Basically the heat component and the shape does not leave your hair curly nor straight.

After reading the reviews(they are very mixed), I thought I would give it a try anyway. I have long, baby fine hair and normally does not hold a curl. I used the iron on suggested setting, no luck, no curl. I upped the heat seating to the next level. But still only gave my hair body. I wanted a curl, like a regular wand gives. The workings of the item was great, no problem. But just couldn't get the curl I was looking for. Going back to my ceramic 3/4" curling iron.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm soo happy they finally came up with something that is not bad for my hair. The COOL AIR technology is a genius invention. My hair is less damaged and styles great. My only complaint is that the wand doesn't open too wide. Which is kind of frustrating but it's not really a problem or a reason that could hold me back from buying again.

However, it's always challenging for me because my hair would fall back straight in a couple hours no matter what I did. This ConAir styling tool is different, it was easy to use. The tool get hot fairly quickly and the curl lasts longer than other tools that I've tried before. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have naturally curly hair and I'm always looking for something that makes my hair straight and styled with waves when needed that doesn't damage my hair too bad and actually gives me good results. This product is a GAME CHANGER! It has multiple heat settings so that you can keep your hair healthy... and the style is always amazing. I've used it about 4 times now and I'm beyond impressed with how well it works each time. I've gotten so many compliments on how shiny and pretty my hair looks since using this product. I would recommend it to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really hoping this could be a great, affordable alternative to a certain very expensive cold air styler. Unfortunately, this product just could not handle my very thick, Mediterranean hair. Both the clamp and the cold air fan were too weak to hold my hair in place sturdily and have much of a styling effect. Whatever minimal wave/curl I do manage to get after very persistent use lasts a few seconds before falling back into a limp form. I'm hoping this is a problem with my technique (although I'm not too hopeful) rather than the product, so we'll see. On the plus side, the straighter function worked better for some reason and my hair responded well to the classic flat iron functionality. Unfortunately, not the feature I was crossing my fingers to have work better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as a free sample for review! There is quite a learning curve with this styler. The air tends to blow pieces of hair out of the barrel which makes it hard to get a nice even curl. I love that it heats and cools quickly, but I have realized I have to be ok with the beachy look! I also wish the instructions made it clear on whether or not this can be used on damp/wet hair. I'm assuming you can't but it doesn't specify. Not willing to risk it but I am disappointed because I feel like it would rival the Dyson air wrap well if it can also dry hair. Overall it's a fun and interesting experience and anything to have a little less damage to my hair when I curl is great! I just wish I knew for sure if it dried hair!

As a straightener, the plates were small and took too long to straighten since it could only handle so much hair at a time…and my hair is thin to begin with. As for the curling portion I like the cooking fan that made it cool to the touch and to set the curl but despite trying at different angles it just gave my hair a weird flip at the end. I was very disappointed

Hard to use on longer hair, barely curls

This is the second of these I purchased, and both had to return because they wouldn't turn on. Unbelievable.
